AFK mining script supporting custom rock locations, Motherlode Mine, and progressive 1-99 training with automatic pickaxe upgrading.

Quick Start

Fastest start with Ez-Add (1-99 progressive training):

1. Start the script at any bank
2. Click the Ez Add button
3. Select "Standard Training (Iron -> Coal -> MLM)" or "Profitable (Gem Rocks)"
4. Click Start

Manual setup:

1. Position your character at your desired mining location
2. Select Mine Custom Rocks or Mine at MLM depending on your method
3. For custom rocks:
   • Select a location preset, or choose "Custom" for manual setup
   • The rock type, tile, and radius will auto-populate from presets
   • Click "Set Position" to use your current location as the mining center
4. Select which pickaxes the script can use
5. Enable "Bank mined ores" if you want to bank instead of power-mining
6. Click Start

Script Arguments

Load a saved settings profile by passing the profile name as a script argument:

MyProfile

This loads <tribot-folder>/nScripts/nMiner/settings/MyProfile.ini and starts immediately without showing the GUI. Useful for automation and automatically starting scripts on clients.

Additional options:

• last - Load the most recently used settings
• Profiles saved to nScripting.com Settings Storage can also be loaded by name

Equipment Requirements

A pickaxe you have the Mining and Attack level to use. Higher tier pickaxes mine faster.

Location-Specific Requirements

Items/GP Needed

• Pickaxe: Script can auto-purchase from GE if "Buy pickaxes" is enabled
• Waterskins: For sandstone mining in the desert (if "Bank for waterskins when out" is enabled in Advanced Settings)

How It Works

nMiner operates in two main modes: Custom Rocks and Motherlode Mine.

Custom Rocks Mode

1. Finds rocks of your selected type within the configured radius
2. Mines until inventory is full (or one ore if M1D1 is enabled)
3. Either drops all ores or banks them depending on your settings
4. Returns to mining

Sandstone Grinder: When mining sandstone at Bandit Camp Quarry, the script can automatically deposit sandstone into the grinder to create buckets of sand instead of banking raw sandstone.

Motherlode Mine Mode

1. Mines ore veins at your selected location (preset or custom)
2. When inventory is full, deposits pay-dirt into the hopper
3. Fixes broken water wheels when needed
4. Collects processed ores from the sack when full
5. Banks ores and gems, then returns to mining

Upper Level Support: If you've unlocked the upper level (57 Mining + 100 golden nuggets), the script can mine there. Enable "Use upstairs hopper" if you've also paid the 50 nuggets to unlock the upstairs hopper.

Coal Bag: The script can automatically purchase a coal bag from Prospector Percy when you have enough golden nuggets.

Automatic Features:

• Uses the best available pickaxe from your allowed list
• Equips pickaxes when possible to save inventory space
• Uses dragon/infernal/crystal pickaxe special attack when enabled
• Avoids rocks being mined by other players (optional)
• Handles level-ups and continues mining

Settings Reference

Main Tab

Mining Method

• Mine Custom Rocks: Mine at any location you configure
• Mine at MLM: Mine at Motherlode Mine

Location Preset (Custom Rocks only)

• Pre-configured locations with optimal tile, radius, rock type, and banking recommendation
• Select "Custom" for manual configuration
• Selecting a preset auto-populates the rock type, tile, radius, and banking settings

Rock Type

• The type of ore to mine (only for Custom Rocks mode)

Mining Tile / Set Position

• The center tile for mining operations
• Click "Set Position" to use your current in-game location

Radius

• Search radius around the mining tile (1-104 tiles)
• Larger radius = more rocks but more movement

Bank mined ores

• Enabled: Bank all mined ores
• Disabled: Drop all mined ores (power-mining)

M1D1

• Mine 1, Drop 1 - drop each ore immediately after mining
• Fastest XP method for power-mining
• Overrides "Bank mined ores" setting

Don't Move

• Stay on the configured tile while mining
• Useful for 3-rock iron spots where you don't need to move

Pickaxe Settings

Pickaxe List

• Check the pickaxes you want the script to use
• The script automatically uses the best available pickaxe from your selection

Buy pickaxes

• Automatically purchase pickaxes from the Grand Exchange when needed
• Also handles purchasing waterskins if sandstone waterskin banking is enabled

Always withdraw best pickaxe from bank

• Constantly checks bank for better pickaxes
• Without this, only checks when already banking or no pickaxe available

Progressive Mode

Chain multiple mining tasks together with automatic progression.

Enable Progressive Mode

• Turns on sequential task execution

Task List

• Tasks execute in order from top to bottom
• Each task includes mining configuration and stop conditions
• Drag tasks to reorder them
• Click a task to load its configuration into the main settings

Ez Add

• Quickly add a complete 1-99 training path:
  • Standard Training (Iron -> Coal -> MLM): Copper at Varrock SE (1-15) → Iron at Varrock SE (15-30) → Coal at Barbarian Village (30-45) → MLM (45-99)
  • Profitable (Gem Rocks): Copper at Varrock SE (1-15) → Iron at Varrock SE (15-30) → Coal at Barbarian Village (30-40) → Gem Rocks at Shilo Village (40-99)

Add Task / Update Task

• Add Task: Creates a new task using current GUI settings, prompts for stop level
• Update Task: Updates the selected task with current settings, allows editing stop conditions

Advanced Settings

Access via the "Advanced Settings" button.

Mining

• Avoid other player's rocks: Skip rocks currently being mined by others (enabled by default)
• Use dragon pickaxe special attack: Auto-activate +3 Mining boost when at 100% special energy

Sandstone (under Mining)

• Deposit sandstone for buckets of sand: Use the grinder at Bandit Camp Quarry instead of banking raw sandstone
• Bank for waterskins when out: Restock waterskins for desert mining
• Waterskin quantity: How many waterskins to withdraw (1-24)

Dropping

• Shift-drop ores: Use shift+click dropping (must be enabled in OSRS settings)
• Dropping pattern: Order to drop items (left-to-right, top-to-bottom, etc.)

Motherload Mine

• Ensure camera pointing at ore veins: Auto-rotate camera for better detection
• Keep gems: Bank gems instead of dropping them
• Keep mouse off-screen while mining: Move mouse off-screen during MLM mining (enabled by default)

Common Settings

Standard settings for antiban, AFK behavior, breaks, world hopping, stop conditions, muling, and Discord notifications are also available - hover over options for details.

Supported Rocks

Troubleshooting

"Progressive mode is enabled but no progression entries are configured"

Cause: Progressive mode checkbox is enabled but no tasks have been added to the progression list.

Fix: Either disable progressive mode or add tasks using the "Add Task" or "Ez Add" buttons.

"The grinder is full of sandstone"

Cause: The sandstone grinder at Bandit Camp Quarry is full and needs to be emptied before more sandstone can be deposited.

Fix: Manually empty the grinder by interacting with it to collect buckets of sand. The script will resume automatically.

"No valid pickaxes, please configure pickaxes in your settings"

Cause: None of your selected pickaxes are available (inventory, equipped, or bank), or you don't have the Mining level requirement for any of them.

Fix:

1. Ensure you have at least one pickaxe selected in the pickaxe list
2. Make sure you have the Mining level to use at least one selected pickaxe
3. Enable "Buy pickaxes" to auto-purchase from the GE

Getting Help

If you run into issues not covered in Troubleshooting:

1. Generate a bug report - In TRiBot: Dev Tab → Generate Bug Report (includes logs, settings, and screenshot)
2. Post on Discord - Share the zip and describe what happened vs. what you expected at discord.gg/BFtypSSbjp

For issues that are hard to capture in a screenshot, a short screen recording helps.

Tips

• Power-mining iron is fast XP. Use a 3-rock iron spot with "Don't Move" enabled for optimal efficiency.

• M1D1 mode provides slightly faster XP than regular power-mining since you never wait for inventory to fill.

• Enable "Buy pickaxes" for progressive training to automatically upgrade as you level.

• For MLM, the South East preset has good ore vein density and is close to the deposit sack.

• Dragon pickaxe special provides a +3 Mining boost. Enable it in Advanced Settings > Mining if you have a dragon, infernal, or crystal pickaxe.

• Sandstone mining at Bandit Camp Quarry with the grinder enabled is a good way to stock up on buckets of sand for Crafting.

• MLM golden nuggets can purchase the Prospector outfit (2.5% XP boost), coal bag, and gem bag. The script can auto-purchase the coal bag when you have enough nuggets.
