- Start the script, select Gemstone crab type and Tlati Rainforest location

- Log in at any supported crab location (or anywhere with teleports to reach one)
- Equip your combat gear and have food in your bank
- Start the script and select a Crab Type and Location from the dropdowns
- Click a circle on the map to select your training spot

Using the Progression System (recommended for 1-99 training):
- Open Advanced Preferences > Progression
- Use the Ez-Add presets to quickly configure level-based progressions
- The script will automatically switch locations/settings as you level up
Script Arguments
Load a saved settings profile by passing the profile name as a script argument:
MyProfile
This loads <tribot-folder>/nScripts/nCrab Killer v2/settings/MyProfile.ini and starts immediately without showing the GUI. Useful for automation and automatically starting scripts on clients.
Additional options:
last- Load the most recently used settings- Profiles saved to nScripting.com Settings Storage can also be loaded by name

Items Needed
- Combat gear appropriate for your training style
- Food (any type) if you need to heal
- Potions (optional) for stat boosts
- Coins for Crabclaw Isle (10,000) or Waterbirth Island (1,000)
- Runes if using magic
How It Works
Standard crabs (Sand, Rock, Ammonite, Swamp) operate in an AFK loop:
- Stand on crab tile - Positions your character at the selected training spot
- Wait for crabs to attack - Crabs disguised as rocks/logs become aggressive when you approach
- Auto-retaliate - Your character fights back automatically
- Eat food - When HP drops below threshold, eats food from inventory
- Reset aggression - After ~10 minutes, crabs become tolerant; the script walks to a reset area and returns
- Bank when needed - Travels to bank for more food/supplies when low
- Handle crashes - Detects other players and responds based on your settings
Gemstone Crab works differently - it's a world boss that never dies and never becomes tolerant, so there are no aggression resets or crashes. The script simply attacks, eats when needed, and follows the crab when it moves to a new mine location every ~10 minutes.
Roaming Mode
An alternative to AFK training where the script actively walks around attacking crabs instead of waiting for them to attack. Useful for less populated spots or when you want faster kills.
GE Restocking
When enabled, the script automatically buys missing supplies from the Grand Exchange when you run out:
- Works with food, potions, ammunition, runes, and refillable weapon components
- Can request gold from your mule if muling is configured
- Keeps at least 1 Ring of Wealth for fast GE access (configurable)
- Custom buy price modifiers can speed up purchases

|---|---|---|
| Fossil Island (North) | 4 | 2-3 crabs per spot, requires Bone Voyage |
Note: Ammonite crabs have a larger aggression radius than other crabs. They also drop fossils which can be looted.
Swamp Crabs
Stats: 55 HP, higher melee/magic defence

|---|---|---|
| Port Phasmatys (South) | 6 | 1-2 crabs per spot |
| Slepe (East) | 2 | 1-2 crabs per spot |

Gemstone Crab (Recommended)
Stats: Effectively infinite HP, no defence, world boss
| Location | Spots | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tlati Rainforest | 1 | World boss, Children of the Sun required (auto-completed) |
Why Gemstone Crabs are recommended: Zero aggression resets needed, no competition for spots, and truly AFK training. The 12.5% XP reduction is offset by having zero downtime from resets or banking.
The Gemstone Crab is a unique world boss that:
- Moves between three mines every ~10 minutes (script tracks this automatically)
- Has no defence and infinite effective HP
- Provides 87.5% normal XP (12.5% reduction)
- Top 16 damage dealers can mine gems from its shell
- Roaming, crash handling, and custom safe tiles are automatically disabled for this crab type
Quest requirement: The script will automatically complete the Children of the Sun quest if needed. This is a short quest with no skill or quest requirements.

Troubleshooting
"Please select a crab position in the GUI"
Cause: No training spot was selected on the map.
Fix: After selecting a crab type and location, click one of the circles on the map to choose your spot.
"We have been crashed"
Cause: On-Crash action is set to "Stop Script" and another player is at your spot.
Fix: Change On-Crash action to "Hop Worlds", "Attack Back", or "Nothing".
"Failed to set magic spell after multiple attempts."
Cause: Unable to set the selected autocast spell.
Fix: Ensure you have the correct staff equipped and spellbook active for your selected spell.
"We don't have enough of item [ID] ([Name])"
Cause: Bank doesn't have enough of a required item.
Fix: Add more of the item to your bank, or enable GE Restocking to auto-buy.
"Failsafe: we keep trying to bank for something but the inventory setup doesn't contain it"
Cause: Script is repeatedly banking for an item not in your inventory setup.
Fix: Review your inventory setup and ensure all required items are listed. This can happen if you're low on food but food isn't in your setup.
"We don't have enough coins to continue"
Cause: Crabclaw Isle or Waterbirth Island requires coins you don't have.
Fix: Add coins to your bank. Crabclaw Isle needs 10,000 coins; Waterbirth needs 1,000 per trip.
"We need coins to travel to the crab location but there is none configured in the GUI"
Cause: Inventory is full (28 items) and script can't auto-add coins.
Fix: Reduce inventory setup to 27 items or manually add coins to your setup.
"We aren't using food and we need to eat"
Cause: HP is low but no food is in inventory setup.
Fix: Add food to your inventory setup, or bring rock cake/locator orb if doing Dharok training.
"We have run out of ammo in our quiver"
Cause: Using ranged but quiver is empty and bank has no more ammo.
Fix: Add more ammunition to bank and ensure it's in your gear setup, or enable GE Restocking.
"We have run out of runes"
Cause: Using magic but out of runes and cannot bank for more.
Fix: Add runes to bank/inventory setup, or enable GE Restocking.
"We have run out of thrown ammunition"
Cause: Using thrown weapons (knives, darts) and ran out.
Fix: Add more ammunition to bank and gear setup.
"Our blowpipe is out of charges or darts"
Cause: Blowpipe needs refilling and auto-refill is not configured.
Fix: Add scales and darts to bank, enable Gear > Item Refilling in Advanced Preferences.
"Cannot use both legacy progression and new progression at the same time"
Cause: Both progression systems are configured.
Fix: Use only one progression system - clear either legacy or new progression settings.
Getting Help
If you run into issues not covered in Troubleshooting:
- Generate a bug report - In TRiBot: Dev Tab → Generate Bug Report (includes logs, settings, and screenshot)
- Post on Discord - Share the zip and describe what happened vs. what you expected at discord.gg/BFtypSSbjp
For issues that are hard to capture in a screenshot, a short screen recording helps.
Tips
-
Gemstone Crab is the best choice for most users - it never dies, never needs aggression resets, and you'll never be crashed. The 12.5% XP reduction is more than offset by zero downtime. The script auto-completes the required quest.
-
Crabclaw Isle is less crowded than Zeah Shoreline due to the 10k entry fee, making it ideal for uninterrupted training if you prefer standard crabs.
-
Ammonite Crabs on Fossil Island have the highest HP (100) of any standard crab type, making them best for higher-level players who can kill them without needing to reset as often.
-
Swamp Crabs have high melee and magic defence - use ranged training at these locations.
-
Enable Loot Fossils when training at Fossil Island for extra value from your session.
-
Use the Check Other Tiles advanced option to automatically find open spots when crashed instead of hopping worlds.
-
For Dharok training, use the Rock Cake settings under Combat > Rock Cake to maintain low HP for max hits.
-
The Progression System can automatically switch your attack style as you level, perfect for training multiple combat skills to 99.
