Are Interface Indices Static?

Hi,

I'm currently writing a tutorial island scriptĀ to get an in-depth feel for the tribot api. Just have this one question.

Are interfaces (i.e. RSInterfaceMaster) indiciesĀ static orĀ can they change after a server update or sporadically? If they do change, can components/children be re-arranged?

šŸ¤žHopefully it is static, that will make my life a lot easier. Not a big deal if I have to make theĀ initialization logic to find the correct interfaces if indices do change, but will be nice not having to worry about that.

My first post on here, so if there is already this info around here would appreciate the link. Couldn't find anything myselfšŸ˜…

The masters generally do not change, although they can sometimes. The children/component IDs do change often enough that it's not recommended to hard code them. Check this out for dynamically finding themĀ
