Bot typed "auto-relog" into my user name

Recommended Posts

Luckily I stopped it before it typed the password and confirm. Who knows what would happen.

Under the settings there was my profile, No user profile, and Auto-relog

But hell did I even come close to expect auto-relog actually types your user name as auto-relog

wtf...

Almost certainly would not have gotten you banned. This is the type of thing I used to worry about when I first started botting. I thought my accounts could get chain banned because they all shut off at the same time during a power outage. I got worried when I accidentally typed in tribot.com in the in-game chat instead of my web browser. After several years of experience it's pretty clear this isn't the kind of stuff Jagex is looking for.

When you're logged in, the OSRS client actually stores your username and password inside of it.

The "Auto-Relog" feature will keep your account logged in, even if you didn't add it to the account manager.

If you use this feature and start your script while logged out, the client doesn't have your user/pass, so the bot isn't able to log in. For some odd reason, it just types "Auto-relog" (perhaps we can fix this).

Don't worry, I've made this mistake a bunch of time. You'll be fine :)

It wouldn't have typed any password.

It does, but as others said, you need to already be logged in into the game in order for this feature to work.

Sorry for (sort of) necro post, but this happened to me too, my account was using Einsteins woodcutter to chop willows at Draynor, it was ran for about 8 hours over 3 days or so, I was babysitting throughout and chatting from time to time, one morning it types auto-relog into username and after I'd logged in it ran for an hour or so, I then logged out and was banned on next login 10 minutes later

It seems common sense that Jagex would be able to see which accounts have used the client from the cache when "someone" types this in as a username, let's be honest this is no ones real login name, and the only reason it would ever be typed in is because the user is botting

Correlation is not causation; not defending the fact that it inputs auto-relog but the more you bot/test scripts, the more you realize how hard it is to find out what jagex does watcha and doesn't watch. Accounts that should be banned live and accounts that should live are banned (possibly on purpose to keep botters from finding patterns in jagex's bot detection system.) There's a lot that goes into this so be prepared for many many bans if you want to continue botting

  • Our picks

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

      RileyZ

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.

    • This release will:

Fix prayers and world hopper API (Thanks @JoeDezzy1 and @erickho123)

      Improve banking API (Thanks @Encoded)

Adds methods for returning and using Java Lists, rather than arrays

      Slightly randomizes some hardcoded behaviour

Removes sleeps from waitConditions; the efficiency saving potential is negligible in these use-cases, therefore cleaner code is preferable

      Other back-end improvements

Note: If you are using LG, please restart both the RS client and TRiBot.
