vorkath script

Recommended Posts

I think people underestimate how popular these scripts could be if made well. If you get a really good scripter that can make very unique and good antiban features, this could be feasable at like $20/$30/$40 per 14 days per account, Users would be low but if the script was made well they'd be loyal and provide a constant income from it for the scripter I'd imagine, more than your average woodcutter that people try out on their level 3 get banned and never buy again. just my 2 cents quick thought

The thing is.. most of the scripters dont even actually play runescape so they dont have the requirements lul

Most premium scripters can ask and they'll be supplied with a plethora of test accounts espesically if they promise a free month or something. I've contributed 20 accounts to an agility script testing once on a bot a few years back on rs3.

Ye contributing an account for agility isnt nearly the same as contributing a high leveled acc for testing. I doubt it would be a plethora.

I got 2 accounts with the requirements I'd contribute, I'm sure others would also. My point is I don't think test accounts would be the limitation of this project, more the motivation if it's worth the scripters time and effort vs the long term reward

It's not just test accounts really, it's also about how well the script would sell. Getting 5-10 sales a month wouldn't exactly be worth it for a bossing script.

If the script would be anywhere near as good as wZulrah I personally would buy 5-10 auths alone.

I think that little sales is under-estimated. If the script is well made, and can work as well as wZulrah (which as of this post has 66 auths at $15/2 weeks per 1 auth)

Assuming due to possible higher requirements or less users buying it just give the scripter and users a fair middleground assume the script got Half as much as Wzulrah within its first month or two of creation, at 33 users priced the same as wZulrah (for Vorkath I'd imagine you could charge a bit more, so once again not pulling extreme numbers) A scripter could make $495 before Tribots fee of roughly like ~30%? (I may be wrong I thought I saw someone mention this before sorry if I am) Assuming that's around the right fee, per month we could infer a well-made Vorkath script of comparative quality to a script like wZulrah for reference could pull it roughly $700 (direct calculation $693.00) a month after Tribot fees for a scripter maintaining this more premium-level script. Now, we can likely infer it would get more than 33 sales, and we also know a scripter could possibly make more of a less-effort script. But Imo $700ish off a script like that would be worth the effort for an experienced premium scripter without too many projects on the go, and it could inspire more advanced bots, which I think many community members would like to see. We have seen barrows, firecape, and zulrah bots, but many other bosses don't have any or not many or no public/paid bots for them, so if a scripter were to invest time into this and do it properly, it could bring more overall attention to Tribot as a whole and possibly increase longterm profit further

Sorry if that is jumbled or doesn't make complete sense, tired at the moment and very busy just a quick thought.

This is the requirements http://oldschoolrunescape.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Slayer_II

33 monthly users that are willing to risk an account like that with this specific script sounds very unrealistic!

Not to mention replacement accounts after bans.

I think you underestimate the amount of people that would be willing to lend their main, but I'd agree that scripters can get the accounts if they really need it sometimes. I couldn't get anyone to lend me one with the requirements for lunar spells and tan leather for months so I had to get the reqs myself.

You should have incentives. I get that you might not want to give out scripts for free. But offering a week of free script usage for lending an account would be nice. Since they are trusting you with an account and could potentially be banned. That is just my opinion but i am sure offering that is the best bet.

This might be easier if the repository let us manually add/extend auths, unfortunately it doesn't

A suggestion to put towards the new devs/staff members :D Since it seems that is takes awhile for new suggestions to take effect. I believe if we have more changes that helps the community/scripters. It would be a lot better forums and community in general.

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

      RileyZ

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.

    • This release will:

Fix prayers and world hopper API (Thanks @JoeDezzy1 and @erickho123)

      Improve banking API (Thanks @Encoded)

Adds methods for returning and using Java Lists, rather than arrays

      Slightly randomizes some hardcoded behaviour

Removes sleeps from waitConditions; the efficiency saving potential is negligible in these use-cases, therefore cleaner code is preferable

      Other back-end improvements

Note: If you are using LG, please restart both the RS client and TRiBot.
