Help, my Tribot client is very tiny

I just tested normal client. Looks like it's not LG's fault, Looks like tribot on my screen is just small.

I have 4k res screen and my windows scaler (200%) makes this slightly bigger but still very small. And on regular (100%) it's just tiny. Sure you can say why not set it to 400% then, well... I dont' want to ruin the rest of my stuff with insanely zoomed in resolution just for this. I'm trying to multitask on this computer

I've had this problem before, and I can't quite remember which one of the steps really helped me, so I'll start with first one and if it doesn't work I'll try remembering other things that I did:

Go to your Java folder which is selected when you're starting tribot (probably something like C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_161)

Once again, I can't remember which file did the trick so do this with both. One of the file is (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_161\bin\java.exe) and the other one is (C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_161\jre\bin\java.exe).

What you have to do on both of these files is:

  1. Right-click and select properties
  2. Go to Compatibility
  3. "Change high DPI settings"
  4. Check the High DPI scale override box, and select System out of the selection box which became active.

Try restarting your PC and running tribot again.

EDIT: Please do the same with javaw.exe files in the same directories as well.

EDIT2: It seems to be this file that needs this change -> C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_161\jre\bin\java.exe

Just now, kerman said:

If it helps, the java I'm using is the one recommend in the looking glass guide (version 112 sdk) Thus not the most up to date java

Then the java file you need to edit is somewhere like C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_112\jre\bin\java.exe or C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.8.0_112\jre\bin\java.exe

Honestly did not try because OP didn't mention it worked.  Now that OP is claiming it works ill give it a shot thanks a million!  Iv done 2 99s with the micro tribot client lol

I have a 4k screen as well and I get tiny tribot lol. So tribot must not be able to scale to 4k clients

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.

    • This release will:

Fix prayers and world hopper API (Thanks @JoeDezzy1 and @erickho123)

      Improve banking API (Thanks @Encoded)

Adds methods for returning and using Java Lists, rather than arrays

      Slightly randomizes some hardcoded behaviour

Removes sleeps from waitConditions; the efficiency saving potential is negligible in these use-cases, therefore cleaner code is preferable

      Other back-end improvements

Note: If you are using LG, please restart both the RS client and TRiBot.
