What is the best way to never have any of your computer info discovered by jagex?

Recommended Posts

I know there are vpns and proxies i cant tell the different between the two but would it be as simple as just using a vpn with multiple servers tp never be ip banned or mac address banned? Can anyone reccomend a cheap yet effective vpn for botting purposes? Also does it matter if i use ethernet or wifi in order to be undetected?

There have been no (noticeable) reports of Jagex using MACID or HWID to ban.

They are known to chainban accounts on the same IP address.

People use proxies to avoid chainbans like this.

Here's info on how to use proxies for Runescape botting: https://rsbotspot.com/post/all-about-proxies-for-runescape-botting/

Using different proxies will prevent your accounts from being linked together based on the address from which they are connecting, but that doesn't mean that they can't blacklist a proxy, or that you won't get banned.

Don't need either if it's just one account.
Bot on your home IP, you main will be fine*.

*Lots of people I've talked to bot on home IP, and their legit accounts are unharmed.

This has been my experience.

The only time my legit accounts have been banned is when I interact directly with my bots, such as trading off the gold and giving supplies.

I do this all the time and haven't been banned.

I did it for like a solid year on my account then all of a sudden my account that I got 94 mage on legit got banned for "botting" when I have never botted it. I was running a few gold farming bots trading over every morning/night.

Can confirm, supplying your bots / getting their resources can definitely get the mule banned, even if it hasn't been botted on. The reason displayed will still be "macroing major", with the same generic message.

one question was never directly answered. I was wondering if i bot and get banned and then remake a new account and get banned will jagex eventually flag my ip so i can't play any new accounts to begin with?

They will eventually flag the address, and after that happens you will no longer be able to finish Tutorial Island on it without getting your account locked or banned.

Change the address. Use a new proxy or restart your router and you will be assigned a new IP.

Given the dynamic nature of address allocation, they probably un-flag IPs after a few weeks / months, but waiting for this to happen is not a viable method.
