Appealing a 2 day ban

Recommended Posts

I received a 2 day ban. The reason i make this post is because botting is usually a perm ban and it leads me to believe that i was banned under suspicion and not proof. I actually wasn't even online when i did get banned.

I was online and tested a script for about a minute and logged out. i was actually testing the break handler since it seems to have difficulty logging back in.

i admit, i got sloppy and decided to do this not on a proxy because my proxy is under maintenance and i was impatient. so i would like to appeal this and hopefully not have my real IP flagged

1) Should I appeal or would trying to appeal and they DO have proof just get the account permd

2) the script uses various anti-bans and is private. how do you think the macro detection flagged me for that minute?

3) is the break handler what flagged me?

what i think flagged me is the script wasnt idleing on the login screen and was still occasionally clicking the screen after the break handler logged it out, but even when not logged in does the macro detection watch you? as i noticed an account on a proxy also had been banned after logging out and not while online in a similar fashion (but with a perm ban).

Important: Since the downloadable RS client uses Java 7, it will no longer be compatible with Looking Glass. To make up for this, we will add support for using other clients such as RuneLite (at a later date).

This change was necessary to allow us to use Java 8 syntax. It also paves the way for Java 9/10/11 support.
