Trying to make vorkath script.

Recommended Posts

Hi im bored so im trying to make a vorkath killer. Im definitely not a super experienced scripter or programmer. Im getting close to where it can almost kill vorkath successfully but I'm having trouble with the part where you are frozen and have to kill the spawn with crumble undead. The issue I'm having is speed, you have to be pretty fast during this part and pretty much have your camera set on the spot of the spawn before it even appears there. Vorkath first shoots the spawn out as a projectile, is there anyway i would be able to find out which tile the spawn is going to land on, and then move my camera there while it is shooting out? Also is there any alternative to casting spells other than DynamicClick that would be faster? Any help would be great, thanks.

What I would personally use is when you receive the message "The dragon is currently immune to all attacks", you want to select the crumble undead spell and wait for the spawn to appear and dynamically click it. Having the crumble undead spell selected before it spawns can speed up the time to click the spawn

This is actually exactly what I'm doing, instead I'm using when he shoots the white ball as the indicator that the phase is beginning. The issue is moving the camera to where the crawler at takes far too long if the spawn is already moving. Really not sure how to fix it, however I just realized I can use fullscreen lol, so it works this way.

If anything else, you could use the Acamera class provided by Final Calibur

It provides an Async camera which can be used to Dynamic click as well as rotate the camera

Thanks I'll probably try this because I would like to be able to run it without using fullscreen.

I use the projectile speed of the projectile that generates the spawn to predict the end location, and adjust my camera accordingly. I rotate my camera using the middle mouse button because it is quicker.

Thanks for the idea. I've actually just begun using fullscreen, so its always onscreen...however, most of the time DynamicClick is too slow and i still end up taking damage.
