Proxies? HELP!

Recommended Posts

Hello TriBotters! I'm brand-spankin' new to the world of botting and was hoping that someone could shed some light on proxies, the benefit of having/using them, how to use them, when not to use them, and any other useful information about them! So far, I've only used aMiner for about 10 hours on 2 different accounts that I don't really care about (1 new account, 1 old account). However, I have a main that I would like to attempt botting agility, rc, and mining on but I DO care A LOT about the account, I've been playing on it for over 15 years. Would proxies minimize the risk of a ban? I know there is always a chance a botted account will get banned so I'm just looking to gain as much knowledge as I can about different strategies/safety methods before I do commence botting on that account. Thank you all in advance for your tips/advice! :)

Edit: If this post is in the wrong section, can a mod/admin please move it? Thanks!

Never bot on your main.

the safest botting is botting for like 4 hours a day, don't use public scripts. And if u can afford purchase a private script

when it comes down to proxies u will need the type: " socks5 "

When tribot starts you are able to put in the proxy, ip and then the port.

i usually use 3 accounts per proxy but if u want to be safer use 1 per 1.

the reason why you use proxies is that once u get banned on an account the ip will be flagged, once u bot on that u will be banned in no time.

finding clean and unflagged proxies is a pretty hard task.

regards

Thanks for the info! Why do I need to type socks5? And how do I know what to type for the ip and port? Sorry I just know nothing about proxies lol. Also, if I've already botted for about 10 hours on those 2 nooby accounts without proxies, is it too late to start using proxies? Would my actual IP get flagged even if I did start using proxies now and they got banned lets say in a week? Thanks.

Your IP you are using will only get flagged once you get banned on it for macro's ( scripts )

Even if your real IP is flagged you can still insert a proxy and it won't see your real IP.
When your asking what you need to type in: Once you purchase a proxy you will get something like this:                     " 182.123.42.12:98123 " ( the numbers can change )

Everything infront of the "  : " is the IP, everything behind it is the port.

When it comes to recommending proxies socks 5 is something you really need to figure out, finding them will be hard and also won't come cheap.
People with good proxies will most of the time not give up their source at least not for free.

Thanks again my man! Can you recommend a site/place where I can purchase a socks5 proxy? Preferably a premium one?

Like I said, finding proxies like that who are unflagged are hard to find. People will not give up their source which work.

At least no one will ever give things up like this for free.
Myself I only found a proper proxies after a month of searching and buying proxies.

I googled it and saw a few sites selling them like proxyfish.com. Would you recommend I try buying one from them? Or not for some reason? Thanks again for all the help man.

You can give it a try, personally never been there, heard good things but also bad things about that provider.

I purchased a proxy from proxyfish and I am running the bot with it (so I believe). Is there a way to check if I'm successfully playing with the proxy ip and not my own? @deviion

Click in the top bar of Tribot on " View " then click on " Runtime Information " there it will say proxy, if it says the proxy IP there that means ur succesfully running on the proxy. If it says "  none "  that means you are running on your real IP.

That only happens when you select the proxy in the TRiBot Loader, I don't believe it updates if you use the "Set Proxy" feature!

Hi I got a proxy server from Virmach. I cannot seem to get Tribot to connect to it. I have gotten a 3rd party internet browser called Maxthus to get it to work so I don't think that its the server that's not working. Yes I have VIP-E as well. Please help thanks!

For example:  if I bought a single socks5 proxy from https://www.yourprivateproxy.com/, would it be able to proxy say 8 Tribot tabs if they all ran the same script?

What is the solution to changing a proxy of current client in tribot.
I KNOW there is no OFFICIAL API for this. I KNOW there is no OFFICIAL API for this.
But there are definitely other ways to accomplish it, care to share?

I'm using Blazing Proxy, mainly just to learn about this stuff, and when attempting to use the username/password login on the tribot client I am given a pop up window that says the connection has timed out.
Yet if I try to authenticate via IP I do not have the user/pass that Tribot uses.

What am I doing wrong? Is anyone using Blazing Proxies that could share their settings?

Or any other solutions/tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.

    • This release will:

Fix prayers and world hopper API (Thanks @JoeDezzy1 and @erickho123)

      Improve banking API (Thanks @Encoded)

Adds methods for returning and using Java Lists, rather than arrays

      Slightly randomizes some hardcoded behaviour

Removes sleeps from waitConditions; the efficiency saving potential is negligible in these use-cases, therefore cleaner code is preferable

      Other back-end improvements

Note: If you are using LG, please restart both the RS client and TRiBot.
