How to Expand your Goldfarm with a Runescape Botting VPS from VPSGamers
Runescape botting VPS are a commonly discussed topic amongst the botting community. However, not all people know the ease & benefits of using a botting VPS. This guide will outline how to purchase a botting ready VPS from VPSGamers, and expand your bot farming capacity.

Check out this guide too:

About Runescape Botting VPS
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. A VPS is a remote computer with its own hardware and internet connection. There are many benefits to using a Runescape botting VPS, the main ones include:

  • Dedicated IP/Proxy address for your bots
  • Expand your computing power to run more bots
  • Bots will run even when your computer is off
  • Save money on electricity costs

About VPSGamers
VPSGamers has served the Runescape botting community for over three years! Their VPSs come 100% setup and ready to bot, no technical experience is required. Your VPS will come preinstalled with Java and all of the latest Runescape bots for gold farming. They use a familiar Windows-like system, so getting your bots started will be easy.

RSBotSpot has personally tested VPSGamers Runescape botting VPS with great success and customer service. One big plus we enjoyed about VPSGamers is their active & friendly support team. They’ve recently added 24/7 livechat to help with any pre-sale(non-technical) issues.

VPSGamers offers plans called RS3G, RS5G, and RS8G, each rated to run 3, 5, and 8 bots respectively. They claim these ratings are conservative, so most users are able to run more bots than listed. See our test results of running 8 bots on their lowest power plan in the Performance Results section below

Performance Results...WOW!
RSBotSpot purchased a 3G plan from VPSGamers to give it a test for ourselves and share the results.

Although the 3G plan is listed as having “Enough Resources to run at least 3 clients” it’s clearly much more powerful!
During our testing, we were able to run two TRiBot Encoded Woodcuter bots utilizing only 11% of the CPU & 29% of the memory.

This means the $20/month RS3G plan would be capable of running a whopping 7 bots simultaneously, more than double the promised amount!*

*Since all scripts require a different amount of resources, your results may vary. However it’s clear to see that VPSGamers is offering powerful servers and great bang for buck.

So.. what are you waiting for?!
Now that you know all about the benefits of using a VPS and where to get a powerful Runescape botting VPS, it’s time to expand your farm!

Looks good! Do these servers come with Looking Glass ready to use? or will i have to install the earlier version of JDK and do the process all over again on the vps?

keen to try these. :)

Looking glass is Tribots. So as long as the VPS supports Tribot, you'll have looking glass. :)

I am keen to try this, do I use this VPS as a normal PC just through a software such as TeamViewer to set-up the Bots or how does that in-theory work? Also is there anyone that has any experience with gold farming that would mind shooting me a PM with examples of scripts they have ran with less chance of getting banned?

One more thing. Ive been told that once you get banned on a few accounts your IP gets marked, will this Virmach allow you to change IP-adresses?

Most will have you connect via rdp which is similar enough to a teamviewer but is quicker with less latency usually. This one looks like you can manage it straight from the browser.

@CharlesEppes is right, looking glass works out of the box! Java JDK and TRiBot come preinstalled.
In rare cases, you'd need a specific Java JDK version to run Looking Glass, in which case you could simply create a ticket asking VPSGamers to install the version you need.

Are you an affiliate with this website, as in do you make money by sending people there? In my opinion, it's decent but expensive. You can find servers out there that will run twice as many bots for the same price. Although I won't use virmach I will say they are very easy to use. So if you're not tech savvy and you don't trust people, you only trust websites then sure test these guys out.

Yes I'm an affiliate, not directly involved with them, but get a kickback for referrals.

That's exactly their market.
The price is like that because them come 100% setup & you get managed support.
As you can see from the guide, it was as simple as ordering and VNCing into a bot-ready setup.

For those who are more tech savvy and know their way around the command line, you're right, setting up a VPS from scratch would be a cheaper option.
VPSGamers does actually sell barebones VPS on their site, at lower prices than the RS-Botting specific ones.

I've always found VPS very intriguing although when using them through vnc or teamviewer it just feels real laggy and slow so I've also stayed away from VPS, unless I run it through one of my other PCs on a proxy then I do it that way, VPS are nice as they let your computer roll sweet as your bots perform but I just don't like the lag you get through the teamviewer and I know this is just the connection between me and the computer and the PC isn't actually running that fast but really is bad, I'd maybe go with VPS if they weren't like that.

Yes, but if you're botting, you just press start your clients and disconnect from the VPS. The lag shouldnt even be an issue since you're not playing? All 3 of my VPS's have noticebale latency but it affects nothing...

This lag/latency is experienced by anyone viewing a VPS.
There is a few ms delay between sending the image from the VPS to your PC.
It's only display lag, but doesn't affect the performance of the VPS (unless you're maxing out its resources).

Yeah that's exactly what I mean it looks laggy but its not, I just really wish there was a way around this to make it flawless like surely with all the technology now a days!

What's the highest performance vps by Virmach?

Check out their order page here.

If you pick the RSPRO plan, there is a slider to adjust plan strength.
You could make a ticket to Virmach if you have more questions about a custom/more powerful plan.

Lagg this and lagg that... it all depends on the strength from your network and the VPS network.. if that is shit, surely you'll experience lagg.

Further more, 100% setup?

I assume downloading some files and install them / configure them whould not take such a long time, maybe approx 20min?

Nontheless, goodluck not too bad though for people who don't know what to do.

This is just false advertising, even though I have all this RAM & CPU remaining they blame too much ''load'' expecting some proper compensation cooked up from this, not happy.

I have a been using the 30$ subcription for a day. I am using 6 Low resource bots and they are turning my servers off for no reason. The servers are super weak for what i have paid. i was using 50% of the cpu. At first i had accepted that eventhough the servers are weak if i could setup 6 of my bots i would have been fine. But they are even unable to provide this. I would have gotten a way better deal for my bucks somewhere else.

      Fluffee's Server Setup 3.0
As some of you may know, I released an automated server setup script a little over a year ago. Albeit that script worked well, I was never fully satisfied with it, as I found it to be kind of messy to use. As a result, I rewrote the script, and restructured it, to add more, and stronger support for the different versions of Debian, the different versions of CentOS and the different versions of Ubuntu. However, with so many different Operating Systems being supported, and many different server providers having different setups, it's hard for me to test every possible scenario on my own. Which is why I've been privately handing this script out, and am now publicly looking for help.

      What does the script do?
Similar to my previous setup script, this script changes the SSH port and creates a new user for connecting and using the server and disables root SSH connections; it installs the latest version of TightVNC Server (1.3.10) and sets that up with the desired port and password. It installs JDK 102 (32 or 64 bit depending on the OS), and installs TRiBot and OSBuddy and sets up the appropriate .jar file associations.
What operating systems does it support?
      - CentOS (6.x and 7.x) (32 and 64 bit)
      - Debian (7.x and 8.x) (32 and 64 bit)
      - Ubuntu (12.x, 14.x and 16.x) (32 and 64 bit)
      Does it work?
As far as I know, yes it does in fact work, and it works well if I might add. However, given that I can't test every possible setup, there is the potential for differences and issues
How do I run the script?
Login as root to a fresh VPS/dedi running one of the supported operating systems. From there run the commands listed below and follow the onscreen instructions. For those who would like to see the script's code, it can be found on my bitbucket here. The commands to run are as follows:
      wget --no-check-cert https://bitbucket.org/teamfluffee/fluffees-server-setup/raw/add-shared-functions/fluffees-server-setup.sh && chmod +x fluffees-server-setup.sh && bash fluffees-server-setup.sh -v Version History

Hey guys, I'm facing some problems with my Debian 8 VPS, currently I'm not able to install Java 8, I was using this as reference https://tecadmin.net/install-java-8-on-debian/ but as it says "IMPORTANT: Java 8 is no longer available to download publically. You can use below link to install Java 11."  Java 8 can't be downloaded anymore, so I tried to use Java 11, but TRiBot doesn't work with it.
      Anyone can have with this?
I'll give more info if required.

Hey tribot, just was looking for a bit of help with the whole vps goldfarming method.
Does anyone have any experience with connecting your screen to the vps desktop? I followed a tribot guide, and did everything correctly and still could not connect with no one to help me.
I am expecting to be able to run 2-3 accounts per vps, is that possible or should i stick to 1-2?
Honestly, just looking for any sort of help on starting a vps based gold farm, and im tired of being promoted shit vps websites

How to Unlock your Runescape Bot Account
If you’ve tried your hand at goldfarming, you’ve probably experienced getting some of your accounts getting locked shorty after tutorial island.
      Locked Runescape Account
After seeing this, many people assume the account is banned or useless, and continue creating more accounts. But that’s not the case! This guide will cover how to get your Runescape bot account unlocked (not unbanned) and continue botting.
Account locks are a common occurrence for people who use proxies for Runescape botting. In my experience, this does not mean the proxy is flagged, and I’m able to bot successfully after recovery.

I highly recommend using the same IP you created the account on for this step. Check out our how to register your runescape account through a proxy guide for info on that.
Tip: To find out your Internet Service Provider use a tool like whatsmyip.

    • [READ TO THE END FOR A TEASER]

I've noticed some new TRiBotters have had some troubles finding out sources of how to do certain things, such as using advanced scripts and often get lost in the forums.

We are still getting posts asking where to start, what to do, recommended scripts, etc.

As many of you know, I am new to the team, and had troubles myself learning how to bot, let alone script.

So, what our team decided to do was make it easier to learn how to bot, how to script, and just become an overall better botter and scripter faster.

As some of you might have seen, I've posted 3 new blogs, you can check it out by clicking on the following picture or here.

These first 3 blogs are the first of many blogs that will be TRiBot official. They are encouraged to be challenged, improved upon and act as A Best Practices Guide for Botters.

What information would you like to see in the blogs?

    • Today marks a big day for TRiBot! To make it easier for users to use TRiBot, we've created installers available for every platform! These installers are all bundled with the latest version of OpenJDK 1.8 (Java 😎, which is LG compatible.

Using TRiBot is now easy. Simply download the installer for your platform, install TRiBot, and run it. The TRiBot Loader will correctly identify the bundled JDK so there's no need to change the Java selection.

      Windows

      EXE installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.exe

      MSI installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.msi

      Portable version: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.zip

      Mac OS

      Installer: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.dmg

      Portable version: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.tgz

      Unix/Linux

      Installer: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.sh

      RPM installer (CentOS/Fedora): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.rpm

      DEB installer (Debian): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.deb

      Portable version: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.tar.gz

      Platform Independent

      JAR file: tribot-loader-4.0.3.jar

Note that this jar file does not include the bundled JDK.

Windows and Mac OS users may notice a warning message stating that the installer/application is un-recognized or un-trusted. Please ignore this message and proceed with running the installer/application. We need to acquire a code signing certificate so that we can sign the installers letting the operating system know that these files can be trusted. It will take a week or more to acquire one, so please hold tight.

Other notable changes to the TRiBot Loader:

Support getting the version from OpenJDK distributions

      Add check for bundled JDK

Copy OpenJDK tools.jar to the bundled JDK if not present

Set the current java as the first available list entry

Ignore Java versions which are symbolic links

Make the bundled JDK the preferred Java version

      Update icon images

Reduce the number of HTTP calls

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

      RileyZ

    • Hello TRiBot,

Today we have a significant release that has been in the works for the last month addressing several key issues, features and bugs in the backlog.

With these changes, we are also including a new TRiBot Loader which will allow you to select any version that is released. This adds the flexibility of allowing you to revert to a previous version should an issue arise, run development only builds, view an accurate change log between versions etc. we are very proud to offer this feature and think it will add a lot more functionality down the road as we continue to release new versions.

These changes include 80+ commits by our development team, a list of them is summarized below and also available for your viewing pleasure in the new TRiBot Loader.

In addition, we have taken additional steps to improve as a development team by adding continuous integration and deployment into our workflow to assist in delivering timely releases such as bug fixes as well as new features on a weekly basis depending on our development cycle.
