Will I Get Banned?

Recommended Posts

So recently I created a bot account, I did this while on a proxy and after doing so I accidently logged into the bot account on my main IP which is where I play my main account. After that, I stupidly logged into my main account while connected to my bot account's proxy, though both times I instantly logged out of my account after noticing the mistake I had made. My question is if I were to get banned on the bot account for botting would my main account (which has botted a very small amount in the past, but never received a ban of any sort) get banned? I know that only Jagex would know the answer to this, but I would like hear your opinions and learn about your past experiences. Thanks.

don't think so unless you have been banned on that proxy multiple times before.

Good luck!

Do you really have any experience losing one account per proxy but not all? Just curious. I've always taken the precaution of 1:1 but 2:1 or even 3 or 4 to one proxy might be cheaper if the bans don't overcompensate for the money saved on proxies.

usually if 1 acc gets banned for botting, all other accs on that same IP that have botted get banned too. however, this is not always the case with good scripts.

Ya maybe if they all are gold farming or some shit. I have gotten several bans and my other accounts weren't banned on that IP. It can happen though.., depends on what you're botting

Depends on how you are gold farming. Use a different proxy for each account, so there won't be a ban wave.

Exactly, but I don't think the OP was talking about that. Pretty sure he is on the same IP

I haven't experienced I full ban wave of accounts on the same ip yet. Only accounts that were on the same method and started at the same time received bans at the same time.

For example, I was starting waves of wine grabbers every day. Once they reached two days old or so, they would be banned. The ones not yet that old would be fine. I'm sure my home ip has been flagged for goldfarming, but none of my legit accounts have ever been banned or locked.

Yeah I feel like you have to be extremely unlucky to get your main banned as part of a chain ban. I've had over 200 accounts banned on my IP at around 40 or so different times, a fair few of those bans happening while playing my main on the same IP and it's still going strong. I've never had an account false banned that wasn't botted on. I feel it would be extremely rare to happen and if it did submitting an appeal would get your account unbanned because they would look at logs and see your account infact hasn't botted. Jagex has the policy where making a new account after you've been banned for botting is 100% fine and your account will not be effected in anyway by the botting account so long as you don't bot on that account also. Within my experience it seems to be the case 100%.

    • This release includes:

Fix updater bug which was causing a bunch of issues

TRiBot will no longer require manual hook fixes every time the RS client updates - the updater has been fully patched for objects

      Hooked login fields

      Improved the login bot

Ability to recognize the banned/locked messages again

Ability to read the current input for username and password fields

If the username or password is already entered correctly, it won't be erased

If only part of the username or password is already entered correctly, it won't be erased. The login bot will fill in what's missing.

If there are a few invalid characters after a valid substring of your username/password, only (approximately) those invalid characters will be erased. The login bot will then proceed to fill in the missing characters.

      RS3 Support Removed

The RS3 client hasn't been updated since our Old-School version of TRiBot was released, as many of you may have noticed. Keeping all of the RS3 code in the client made the client as a whole harder to maintain, larger, slower, and messier. As hardly anyone still uses the RS3 client, and since the RS3 API was hardly functioning, we made the decision to completely remove it from TRiBot.

For the average user, this means that the client will be smaller, cleaner, and faster. Future updates will also take less work meaning there will be more frequent updates.

If you were one of the few users still using the RS3 client, we apologize for the inconvenience. No future support for RS3 is planned. There are many other botting clients which has support for RS3, so we recommend finding an alternative if you wish to continue botting on RS3.
