Proxies with looking glass??

Recommended Posts

Should be proxy ip if you did everything correct. Run Osbuddy and Tribot in following order:

1- First open an osbuddy client and minize it without touching anything on it (don't login to game, stay at login screen)

2- Run Tribot then select the proxy you want to use in Tribot loader screen. After Tribot client loaded, start a new looking glass tab and login your acc in this looking glass screen.

As far as i know Tribot connects osbuddy through proxy you selected in Tribot loader screen. So you'll login to game through the proxy.

I was just wondering, If I were to use a proxy for a tribot client and use looking glass with an OSBuddy client, would my IP of the account logged in be the same as the proxy's IP or my regular IP?

Looking glass supports proxy's. Try running one with a fake proxy (random numbers) and see if your able to view the world select screen or login. You shouldn't be able to unless you set it back to a proper proxy!

Can't you just right click the top of the LG at the top of the client and select proxy?

Yes, I never load tribot with a proxy set - I run 3 tabs per client, all with different proxies on each. Have your Osbuddy loaded, start your tribot, open a LG tab, then select proxy once its running.

Yes you can. i have been running one tab / per client all the time (cuz i beleive its more stable). So i load Tribot with proxy and LG tab will be loaded through the proxy that i selected in Tribot loader.

Hi guys,

Can someone please explain this to me? I thought looking glass just mirrors the screen of the RSbuddy client so you would have to use a program like proxify to run RSbuddy on the same proxy as Tribot. If this isnt the case, that would be great because I always think those programs are a hassle. But I need to be absolutely sure because I would light my house on fire if my IP gets compromised.

Firstly, nice necro bumping a 3 year old thread my dude.

Secondly, no your IP wont get compromised wtf are you high or something?

Thirdly, when you connect to LG, and your Tribot is connected to a Proxy, your LG connects to a proxy too. And this isnt Rsbuddy, we Tribot dude

Yeah I didnt want to post a question that was already asked so googled first =] I wish I was high but im just a noob when it comes to how this works. I thought it just interacts with RSbuddy as im using LG but because RSbuddy doesnt have a proxy option in the client its on your own IP? Im confused.

i literally answered ur question, which you just asked again..

when you connect to proxy on lg while you are hooked to tribot, your LG client (runelite/osbuddy) will reflect what proxy you are on
