Does anybody still program C?

3 posts in this topic

I'm studying programming at the moment and we are programming with C.. It feels so old comparing to C#. We are going to control some kind of small devices with it. So is anybody here programming it?

Yes. C is an extremely useful language. Once you get into assembly programming you'll truly appreciate how easy C makes your life.

C is useful for programming physical machines, operating systems, etc. It may feel old but it'll be more powerful for these applications than C#.
