5) Short biography / Coding Experience: [1-2 short paragraphs]

My name is Ian, I'm 21 and from California. I've been programming for 9 years in Java. Taken a few college courses in other various programming languages. I've created and ran many private servers. I joined tribot shortly after it was created in 2013 and released various scripts to the public.

6) Reasons why you feel you deserve Scripter: [1-3 short paragraphs]

Know that I can provide quality scripts to the community, I was a scripter back in 2013 and know what it takes to be a scripter.

7) What you plan to provide the community with: [1-3 short Paragraphs]
More Scripts! And as much help as I can give to the up and coming programmers trying to learn something about java.

8) Do you agree to continue to not only update, but provide more free, open sourced scripts to the community? [YES/NO]

Yes

@TacoManStan Read below
@warfront1 I left because I needed to focus on school, I moved to Vancouver, BC to attend a 16 month music course that I spent $30,000 on and wanted divert my focus and energy towards that. However I recently graduated from the course and have a lot more free time on my hands. As for iPlankFarmer the one script I actually sold, it was released for free on the thread over a year ago and since I've come back it has been fully updated and abcl10 as well as all of my scripts. I have released 4 scripts that are a lot more useful to the community than iPlankFarmer since then. iAbyss Runecrafter, iTabber, iSmithing Pro, and iFiremaker Pro. I wont be leaving again because I no longer have anymore school.

I do apologize for leaving Tribot without notice, that was not very professional of me, I had some major things going on my life, but that is not an excuse. I refunded all the users that filed complaints and the script has been available for free since then, and some of my scripts are to this day are the most added free scripts on tribot with over 7000 users.

Not sure what you guys would like me to do to make up for leaving other then contribute to this community which I feel like I have all ready done enormously.

@Usa Uploaded as much as I could to pastebin before it gave me this
Woah, you have reached your free account limit of 20 pastes per 24 hours. Either wait a little or upgrade to a PRO account. Then you can create 100 new pastes per 6 hours.

@modulusfrank12 Music Production/Engineering can do just about anything there is to do with producing music. Learned all about recording/mixing/producing techniques in a live studio setting and worked with some of the worlds top music producers like Bob Ezrin and Garth Richardson who did work with Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Kiss, etc(music is also a passion of mine ;) )

Assuming you are revamping your Script Rank Application, I’d highly recommend speaking to why you left the community. There were multiple upset customers on a “LifeTime” offering of a script you were selling at the time you left.

Furthermore, why should we believe you won’t take the same exact actions as you have done in the past.

Not to say that you should ignore the past, but that would be a question more focused on a Premium Scripter application @warfront1

You can judge his current code/contributions and vote whether he would make a good addition to the Scripter group or not.

I really, really hesitate to make a decision on this. Your code seems decent, but that's not really what scripter is about. I was diagnosed with cancer, and yet I still notified the community that I would be leaving while receiving treatment. I wasn't even a scripter yet, much less a premium scripter. It bothers me that any personal issues took precedence over your customers and the community.

That being said, I won't pass judgement until you inform us as to why you left. There may be others who believe differently, but I will personally be voting no until you can provide what was so important that you needed to leave without letting the community know why (I couldn't find an explanation when looking through your previous posts).

EDIT: Yes, I had read that, and I respect it. The issue with that is that it was your choice to attend such a course, and that it definitely wasn't an easy decision. What I mean is that you had time to inform the community of your absence, but you didn't take it. What that shows is that you look at TRiBot has a "thing on the side", which is fine, but that shouldn't make it something you can toss to the side.

At any rate, I'm voting yes. Hopefully you will stay motivated to maintain your scripts, because updated and fully functional free scripts are something TRiBot really needs.

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below

    • To better support the upcoming changes (TRiBot X, new repository), we're switching our login handler to Auth0. Instead of logging in with the standard form, you'll now be required to login through our Auth0 application.

All existing accounts which have been used within approximately the past year have been imported into Auth0 using the same email and password combination which has been stored on the forums.

What does this mean for users?

Your account credentials are now even more securely stored

You'll be able to login via Facebook, Google, and others in the future

Is there anything users have to do differently now?

Existing users: You'll have to login with the standard login, open your Account Settings, then link your Auth0 account

New users: You'll be redirected to our Auth0 app (auth.tribot.org) where you'll be able to create an account

      Why was this change made?

The new apps we are creating (such as the new repository) aren't able to use the forums to handle user logins

To centralize all user accounts in one area

To ensure that the client login doesn't go down when the forums are having problems

      To speed up our development

      Other considerations

There's no documentation or official support for using Invision Community combined with Auth0, so there are still a few kinks we're working out

We're in the works of creating an account management panel specifically for Auth0 accounts (ETA August)

It's not possible to change email addresses for the time being (this will be resolved this August)

Changing passwords is a weird process for the time being. To change your password, you'll have to use the "Don't remember your password" tool on the Auth0 login page

    • Over the past month, we've been working hard on TRiBot's new repository - a much needed update. This change has been deemed necessary for TRiBot X, and will allow us to really speed up development of all aspects of TRiBot.

Today we are going to share what we've been working on!

Now you must be wondering what kind of features the new repository will have.... well, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. We're still figuring out various technical aspects so we can't provide answers to all possible questions. We're also focusing on development rather than writing about it so that everyone can get access to our latest developments at lightning speed. I will however answer a few users' questions.

We're planning on a release of this early to mid August, giving users some goodies before TRiBot X's release.

Thank you all for being patient. I hope everyone is excited as much as I am!

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.
