How to Setup

Adding Tasks

  • Select if you want to add a "Mix Potion" or "Clean Herb" task by clicking either "Potion" or "Herb".
  • Enter in the type of herb or potion that you want to make.
  • If you are making a potion, select how you want the potion to be made
    • Alternate: The script will make an inventory of unfinished potions, then use those to make finished potions, then repeat.
    • Unfinished: The script will only make unfinished potions.
    • Finished: The script will only make finished potions.
  • If you are cleaning herbs, choose if you want to use the "Fast Clean" option (WARNING: Fast Clean does not use ABCL 10).
  • Enter the amount of the herb you want to clean or potion you want to make. Enter 0 if you want to run the task until you run out of ingredients.
  • Click "Add Task".

Options

  •
  • Loop Tasks: When enabled, the tasks will be looped until no tasks can be executed (out of ingredients).
  • Do Druidic Ritual: When enabled, the script will do the Druidic Ritual quest to get you level 3 herblore (and access to the skill) if you have not yet done the quest.
  • Custom Antiban: When enabled, the script will use a set of customized antiban techniques that go beyond ABCL 10 (ABCL 10 will still be used as well).
  • Logout on Script Stop: When enabled, the script will logout when the script ends. Note that this only applies when the script ran out of tasks, not when you manually stop the script.

Note The Following

  • If you run out of ingredients before a task can complete, the script will automatically go to the next task.
  • If you run out of ingredients for a task when on "Loop Tasks" mode, the script will not try to execute that task again.
  • "Fast Clean" mode for cleaning herbs does not use ABCL 10, and it is not recommend that you use it for an extended period of time.

Once you've done the above, add all the tasks that you want, set the settings you want, then press Start Script!

First to activate script! Is that Javafx? It looks more attractive than normal.

Yup, it's JavaFX. I'm slowly converting all of my scripts to JavaFX. In addition, I also have several other task-based free scripts in the works that will use JavaFX similarly to Tau Herblore as well.

On another note, I clicked the GUI image on the thread to take a closer look at something, and spent 5 seconds trying to click the X button on the GUI in the image instead of the actual X button. So... I'm going to go to bed now. If anyone has any bugs to report, leave a comment and I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

What is Tau Herblore?

Tau Herblore is an incredibly efficient herblore training script, and Taco Herblore's predecessor. (Taco Herblore will still remain available while Tau Herblore is in beta).

Can you add support for stamina potions please?

Yes, I can do that sometime in the future. Stamina potions don't follow the same formula as other potions, so I'll have to do a bit of reworking, but it is more than doable.

Also, another note, there is currently an issue with banking for some users which I will be fixing as soon as I get access to my computer (not sure when that will be, hopefully soon).

Script has stopped several times for me saying it's out of supplies even though I have 1k+ ingredients in bank visible.

edit: sometimes has errors calculating profit, says I was making 1m/hr doing harralandar unfs.

more edit: spam right clicks the second most bottom inventory spot for no reason?

I'm going to need more information than that. What were your tasks? How many tasks were you doing? What were your options? Did RuneScape disconnect at all? etc.

As for the profit/hr, I'd assume that the item isn't sold often so the GE price is inflated, causing the equally inflated profit/hr.

On another note, if anyone has an account with 77 herblore, I'll need to borrow one before I can add stamina potion support. Thanks.

A fix coming for the random stopping of the script?

Was unaware that this was a problem still, I'll look into it. Are you using looking glass?

Hello @TacoManStan

Will you be adding Super Combat potions? No other script supports them!

Thanks!

I will be adding Super Combat Potions as well as Stamina Potions, but I'll need to borrow an account with at least 77 herblore to test Stamina Potions and one with at 90 herblore to test Super Combat Potions.

  • Our picks

    • Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank everyone for their patience in this transition period. Since last week, we've worked out the remaining bugs with this integration.

Some users have still been having issues with connecting their forums account to their Auth0 account. To resolve this, we've imported all forums accounts into Auth0.

Unfortunately, the accounts which were imported today were using an unsupported password hashing algorithm. Hence, random passwords were set during the import.

What does this mean for me?

If you've previously linked your forums account to your Auth0 account, you don't have to do anything. Nothing changes for you.

If you haven't logged in via our new login yet,

Try logging in with your forums email address and the last password you used

If you are unable to login, please use the "Forgot password" tool on the login page:
Follow the instructions to reset your password

    • Hello everyone,

Last week we tried to roll out Auth0 Login, but we lost that battle. Now it's time to win the war!

      Important changes

When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Changes for existing users

You'll have to link your Auth0 account to your forums account here: https://tribot.org/forums/settings/login/?service=11

Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      Important notes

Make sure to verify your email address upon creating a new Auth0 account

When we mention your Auth0 account, we mean your account used for auth.tribot.org as displayed below

    • To better support the upcoming changes (TRiBot X, new repository), we're switching our login handler to Auth0. Instead of logging in with the standard form, you'll now be required to login through our Auth0 application.

All existing accounts which have been used within approximately the past year have been imported into Auth0 using the same email and password combination which has been stored on the forums.

What does this mean for users?

Your account credentials are now even more securely stored

You'll be able to login via Facebook, Google, and others in the future

Is there anything users have to do differently now?

Existing users: You'll have to login with the standard login, open your Account Settings, then link your Auth0 account

New users: You'll be redirected to our Auth0 app (auth.tribot.org) where you'll be able to create an account

      Why was this change made?

The new apps we are creating (such as the new repository) aren't able to use the forums to handle user logins

To centralize all user accounts in one area

To ensure that the client login doesn't go down when the forums are having problems

      To speed up our development

      Other considerations

There's no documentation or official support for using Invision Community combined with Auth0, so there are still a few kinks we're working out

We're in the works of creating an account management panel specifically for Auth0 accounts (ETA August)

It's not possible to change email addresses for the time being (this will be resolved this August)

Changing passwords is a weird process for the time being. To change your password, you'll have to use the "Don't remember your password" tool on the Auth0 login page

    • Over the past month, we've been working hard on TRiBot's new repository - a much needed update. This change has been deemed necessary for TRiBot X, and will allow us to really speed up development of all aspects of TRiBot.

Today we are going to share what we've been working on!

Now you must be wondering what kind of features the new repository will have.... well, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. We're still figuring out various technical aspects so we can't provide answers to all possible questions. We're also focusing on development rather than writing about it so that everyone can get access to our latest developments at lightning speed. I will however answer a few users' questions.

We're planning on a release of this early to mid August, giving users some goodies before TRiBot X's release.

Thank you all for being patient. I hope everyone is excited as much as I am!

    • Over the past few months, I’ve been working diligently on a new project - TRiBot X. Everything has been written from the ground up, with all of the best practices of software engineering. Every aspect of TRiBot has been re-imagined to support three main goals: flexibility, useability, and reliability.
