What type scripts have the highest ban rate ?

Recommended Posts

I dont want to get any of my accounts banned so I was wondering what type of scripts have the highest so i can avoid them. Thanks in advance.

All of them will get you banned if you bot like an idiot.

As for most likely to receive bans I would say:

  • Hunter
  • Combat in popular areas
  • NMZ seller

I agree with mrdeanoo, but I'll add to that list:

  • agility (rooftops for graceful outfit that many farmers seek out for increased productivity)
  • Pest control (if premium and free scripts are used)
  • Rune crafting, so hot right now
  • any f2p gold farm script (wool shearers,jug of water/potatoes/what the fuck) although you can suicide and drop trade before bans occur.
  • Zulrah
  • Green dragon scripts
  • Mage training Arena  by TAU (formery Sigma by Starfox) since about 1,5 months every single one of my farmer accounts using this script have died, I highly suspect this is due to the telekenetic room but our requests for updates on using corners to navigate that room instead of lining up (which is not only highly bannable but also very unproductive) have been ignored since the creation of that script in january 2014. I have used articron's MTA script from topbot and so far haven't gotten a ban but perhaps it is a very unfair comparison considering TAU's script has a 10 x larger user base.

In general private scripts are your safest bet, I assume jagex tries to detect pattern like behavior to maximize bot catching so they can wipe out entire user bases of scripts/bots , private scripts have very few users thus lower the risks, I met a guy at the university of Amsterdam who has a Msc in artificial intelligence, found out he still played 2007 and made topbot scripts for skilling, had him make me some nice scripts for goldfarming, been using those now for the last 2 months, 0/34 accounts banned. If you have the time/skills to make your own private scripts or have the time to learn to do so then I think it might be worth your time. Otherwise you'll have to buy them from others and they can be very pricey because of their exclusivity.

After private scripts come premium scripts, they are not as good as private scripts because some of them on the repository have 1k+ users, some of those users even have unlimited auths so 1K+ users might be 5k+ accounts that are botting on that script. Some of them are coded very well actually, because profits are usually higher than on private scripts, developers can put more time in it because it is worth their time to develop; progress reports/vouches/extra functions are a good way to sell 'em. Like private scripts they are paid so this filters out a lot of leechers, consequently ban rates are lowered because of this. A big disadvantage of premium scripts (in my opinion) is that developer's only have to release updates that are necessary for the most basic functionality of the script, I think updates every 2 weeks would be fair because it lowers ban rate and ensures that scripts get better and better (I think at least, a sudden shift in behaviour might actually do the opposite I don't know) some premium scripts don't get updates for months , updates that are useful/productivity enhancing must be asked but in my experience that doesn't mean much since some developers choose not to code but just layback and reap the profits, mods also don't do much against premium scripters that are away longer than a week but refuse to notify their users on the script. If you are farming on a budget I would keep these last points in mind. I would say: check in the comments whether the users are a bit satisfied with the current state of the script and the way the scripter communicates with his buyers.

Then come free scripts they are not meant for serious gold farming, the risk that comes with these is that everybody can use them, because of the availability of such scripts I would not recommend using these on the long term as it will cut your profits by a lot, if the script however has just been released then by all means use it, that isn't that risky.

I tried to write this as honest as possible, if I have made any mistakes I would like to have them pointed out, good luck @alanp97.

This really helped me out thank you. What are the top skills to make money ? Im probably going to buy a premium script now and bot on that skill for money.

I would 100% believe you if you say that there are people out here and other botting forums who succesfully manage to farm it, I however am always trying to experiment with new methods, I tried green dragons 2 months ago on 2 accounts, got reported (saw the chat) was banned 5 days later on 1 of them, this was after 12 days of productive botting, on the second one I farmed for about a week longer, it got banned too. Both accounts were reasonably quested (30ish and 40ish quest points) had a friend list of about 55ish and 35 ish people and a decent music list. I added it to the list because of that experience, but we can agree to disgree if my claim is not valid according to you.

Runecrafting by far, but it's high risk high gain, an rc'ing account that makes max profit (level 91 for double nats) is a big time investment, time's one of your most valuable commodities when gold farming actually, would the account happen to get a manual ban, it will be like losing out on so much time that it's really worth giving it some deep thought on whether or not it is worth the risk for you, especially since some fuckboy named mila and his reddit fuckbuddies brought RC'ing bots so much to the mods attention.

If you have an account with decent skills and some quests done you might want to look into this:

https://tribot.org/forums/topic/53017-troll-tan-leather-abcl10-15mh-100k-xph/

@ITryNotToTroll released this script a week ago that seems to make nice money, if you have the requirements for it (fremennik hard diaries and some high skills) you might wanna give it a shot, might bring in enough gold for you to reinvest in premium/private scripts/vps'es/proxies/whatever you need.

As good as this method is, I would not recommend it unless you are planning to train and quest for 3-4 weeks per account :)

@mrdeanoo

My apologies, had night internship in the university hospital, I'm a bit tired, about to head to bed.

I think it is because it's been one of the most classic gold farming methods since like, ever.

Remember the times of 900000000000+ baldheads with an olive colored shirts,green pants and bronze axe chopping away every single f2p yew tree?

These were all from the same infamous chinese bot, rsdemon which was a client, VPS manager in 1 program, you could buy "keys" for 3$ /account/week and then it would have an unique IP and it would run on a server somewhere in China (it was protected with themida if I recall correctly so everyone trying to make a keygen/crack for it was just trying to trojan backdoor you ass), the same guys that made rsdemon also made one for green dragons, it would 3 item (weapon, rune platebody, and shield or legs) and farm the greendragons as good as it could but it had 1 big flaw: it was possible to skull them by standing at the right tile at the moment they tried to attack a green dragon, if you managed to do that their equipment was yours.

But back to your question:

Pk'ers might scare/annoy real players but scripts just moonwalk straight back to the green drakes, it's also a very solid goldfarming method, unless an update for either prayer or alchemy fucks it up the demand for Dragon bones and green dragon hide won't disappear.

@mrdeanoo

I agree, but I predict the ban rate will be very low considering it's such a niche method and the user count is currently at 2.

User asking mentioned this:

I dont want to get any of my accounts banned so I was wondering what type of scripts have the highest so i can avoid them. Thanks in advance.

@alanp97

As Deano already mentioned, you'll have to invest some time in it before it actually pays off, but it fits both your criteria:

  1. Low ban rate
  2. High profit/hour

Experiment a bit, you can ask questions, no problem, but in my experience learning from your own experience tends to be more educational (entrepreneur wise, learning from mistakes etc.) than blindly taking advice from others, you can blindly follow this advice tho because it's more like common sense.

      RS3 Support Removed

      The RS3 client hasn't been updated since our Old-School version of TRiBot was released, as many of you may have noticed. Keeping all of the RS3 code in the client made the client as a whole harder to maintain, larger, slower, and messier. As hardly anyone still uses the RS3 client, and since the RS3 API was hardly functioning, we made the decision to completely remove it from TRiBot.

      For the average user, this means that the client will be smaller, cleaner, and faster. Future updates will also take less work meaning there will be more frequent updates.

      If you were one of the few users still using the RS3 client, we apologize for the inconvenience. No future support for RS3 is planned. There are many other botting clients which has support for RS3, so we recommend finding an alternative if you wish to continue botting on RS3.
