Ban after ban after ban

Recommended Posts

It's been about a year since I botted last because I got so frustrated with how literally every account I botted on got banned within a matter of hours. I probably had 6-8 accounts banned altogether, all from botting.

Anyway, I decided to try to get into botting again here recently, and used a simple autowalker script for about 15 minutes just to find out I got banned an hour later. Is it because of how many accounts have been banned on my IP? I know the bot didn't get stuck or do anything suspicious because I watched it the whole time, which also rules out anyone reporting me because I used the autowalker in very low population areas of the map. So it's either the script, or the amount of accounts banned on my IP. Do you guys think I need to get a VPN to start botting, or is Jagex's detection just that good now?

Have you ever heard of being IP flagged? That's why all your accounts were getting banned, or you didn't delete the runescape cache so they could detect you were botting again. I've been in the same situation as you. I would advise deleting your cache, and even botting on a new IP. Jagex's detections have been so damn good lately in my opinion. I've been banned so many times, some within an hour. Ban rates are high, I noticed there aren't even very many botters anymore. You should definetly use a proxy and delete cookies and your runescape cache. Don't ask me how to delete the cache though. Figure that out yourself there's a few files that runescape downloads to your computer

Could be the script, I have 9accounts banned on my IP and i'm just botting on one account at the moment using the Sigma Grand Exchange script litterly 20hours a day on one account for 4days straight now and my account is still going strong.

On the other hand my 3 other woodcutting bots got banned within 8hours oof botting so i am going to get a VPN, and i highly suggest you to do the same :)

Can you plz requote yourself saying "my wc bots are banned in8 hours" you should REALLY go find a actually good botting method instead of the casual suicide methods that 1000 botters do.

I've honestly never heard of deleting the cache to help out, but I figured I'm at the point to where my IP is definitely flagged. I'll delete the cache and look into getting a vpn I guess.

It was a free script, that's why I wondered if it wasn't that. I remember a couple of years ago I could bot for 2-3 days straight and not have to worry about a ban, but anymore I'm getting my ass kicked even if I try using an auto-walker for 15 minutes.

I bot a lot, on my main and on alts with no bans. It sounds like your* IP is flagged. By your description id be 95%+ sure. Sorry for the losses and good luck with getting a VPN!

I appreciate it man! I guess sometimes you have to learn the hard way, haha. As far as I know VPN's cost money, so I'll have to put botting on the backburner until I have some spare cash.

    • Hello TRiBot,

Today we have a significant release that has been in the works for the last month addressing several key issues, features and bugs in the backlog.

With these changes, we are also including a new TRiBot Loader which will allow you to select any version that is released. This adds the flexibility of allowing you to revert to a previous version should an issue arise, run development only builds, view an accurate change log between versions etc. we are very proud to offer this feature and think it will add a lot more functionality down the road as we continue to release new versions.

These changes include 80+ commits by our development team, a list of them is summarized below and also available for your viewing pleasure in the new TRiBot Loader.

In addition, we have taken additional steps to improve as a development team by adding continuous integration and deployment into our workflow to assist in delivering timely releases such as bug fixes as well as new features on a weekly basis depending on our development cycle.

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.
