Any actual gold farmers here?

Recommended Posts

Are there any actual successful gold farmers here who have been doing it for a little while and actually make money? if you how long have you been doing it how much have you made? How many bots in your farm?

Just tell me your gold farming stories, i am interested to hear about how successful some of you are.

No need to discuss methods if you dont want to, im not interested in stealing your way of making money.

Thanks.

Not about me but I know a story or 2.

Three years ago or so jagex was relatively lax about botting dungeoneering. There was a dungeoneering script on powerbot that allowed you to sell floors and was a pretty amazing all around script. There were a few guys who were running farms that would make over 200m a day at their peak (in rs3 gold). One of the guys apparently made enough from goldfarming to buy a small house and a used car.

Whenever the ascendant crossbow came out, I got really lucky and was able to farm a few billion over the summer. The monsters required like lvl 77 slayer to kill and very few botters have accounts like that lying around. I had 5 and bought a few more and farmed ascension keys when they were still like 1m per. I believe at that time I was averaging like 3-4m per hour per account. Funny story - one of the jmods who developed the area came down to check for bots shortly after release and I had a conversation with him while the bot was doing its thing.

EDIT: found the pictures

if your not getting banned your not doing it right just to let you guys know

i use tons of variatons to things that the average person just wouldn't be able todo let alone make a profit on it

if your looking to a quick rich scheme your better off going outside and getting a 15$ an hr job and set yourself up for life

otherwise get smart cause if your stupid in this ga,e you die

i've been botting total maybe 1.5 years ( 6 month so so when i was 18 - 19 )

about 1 year ago i got laid off a started botting hard core mainly because of oldschool and refreshness

in my 1 year total from that point i basically already knew what i was doing and if you dont have that aspect you might aswell leave cause noone is gonna tell you unless their quitting then if they quit its prob not worth much of jack anyways

in the last year i would say that i've made somewhat of 20,000$ not much but it has paid for everything i need and since i do other things its def enough

also in the last year i wasn't as good as i am now and my project is to now reach pos 40k + a year and dominate the osrs markets

to a noob off the boat of tut island your projected gross is 0 with a maxium of 800$ or so per month

that means you will have to pull 100m each week to reach that  small goal

90% of things will not produce even that so that right there would be your odds

yes you can profit and yes its 100% but as you can see noone is a millionaire here thats cause it does'nt exist

its almost a 90% chance you will die and give and play for fun but gl trying and have a nice day ^^

how are you not banned? I got rekt so quick trying to run the abyss. Or are those nats being made on Karamja?

I've noticed there is still a farm or two going on Karamja, selling ess to Jiminua and buying it back instead of using Aisles

hey, i botted back in the day with ibot i personally feel that was the golden age for botter and goldfarmers alike, back then i had around 30 accounts running doing different things suchs as green drags, sorceress garden, yew woodcutters etc although i cant remeber how much i was earning it was enough to get me through college without needing a real job.

I have been back on the scene for around 6 months, i have had up to 20 bots running but then i found a method which makes me an easy 30m per day with only using around 5 accounts (4 accounts are botters 1 account is mule/seller). also these accounts have been running for a good 3 months with no bans, i would add more bots for that method but i have reached a plateau and more bots would not make me anymore per day.

so i currently make around $1500/month, i have been researching and testing new methods but i find it very difficult to keep accounts from getting banned.

all this to say although i earn a good bit of pocket money per month from this, had i not discovered this method i probably would have stopped months ago because as i just stated keeping accounts from getting banned is too difficult, which would make goldfarmer virtually impossible

    • Today marks a big day for TRiBot! To make it easier for users to use TRiBot, we've created installers available for every platform! These installers are all bundled with the latest version of OpenJDK 1.8 (Java 😎, which is LG compatible.

Using TRiBot is now easy. Simply download the installer for your platform, install TRiBot, and run it. The TRiBot Loader will correctly identify the bundled JDK so there's no need to change the Java selection.

      Windows

      EXE installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.exe

      MSI installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.msi

      Portable version: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.zip

      Mac OS

      Installer: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.dmg

      Portable version: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.tgz

      Unix/Linux

      Installer: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.sh

      RPM installer (CentOS/Fedora): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.rpm

      DEB installer (Debian): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.deb

      Portable version: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.tar.gz

      Platform Independent

      JAR file: tribot-loader-4.0.3.jar

Note that this jar file does not include the bundled JDK.

Windows and Mac OS users may notice a warning message stating that the installer/application is un-recognized or un-trusted. Please ignore this message and proceed with running the installer/application. We need to acquire a code signing certificate so that we can sign the installers letting the operating system know that these files can be trusted. It will take a week or more to acquire one, so please hold tight.

Other notable changes to the TRiBot Loader:

Support getting the version from OpenJDK distributions

      Add check for bundled JDK

Copy OpenJDK tools.jar to the bundled JDK if not present

Set the current java as the first available list entry

Ignore Java versions which are symbolic links

Make the bundled JDK the preferred Java version

      Update icon images

Reduce the number of HTTP calls

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

      RileyZ

    • Hello TRiBot,

Today we have a significant release that has been in the works for the last month addressing several key issues, features and bugs in the backlog.

With these changes, we are also including a new TRiBot Loader which will allow you to select any version that is released. This adds the flexibility of allowing you to revert to a previous version should an issue arise, run development only builds, view an accurate change log between versions etc. we are very proud to offer this feature and think it will add a lot more functionality down the road as we continue to release new versions.

These changes include 80+ commits by our development team, a list of them is summarized below and also available for your viewing pleasure in the new TRiBot Loader.

In addition, we have taken additional steps to improve as a development team by adding continuous integration and deployment into our workflow to assist in delivering timely releases such as bug fixes as well as new features on a weekly basis depending on our development cycle.

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.
