Banned soon?

Question

Hi all,

I was just wondering if its possible to get banned if you baby-sit your bot for a couple of hours. I've been botting over the last couple of days, only for 2-3 hours and I haven't been banned yet. It's gotten me to 70 hunter and I'm considering stopping due to people telling me I will get banned eventually.

Long story short, If I baby-sit a bot, is it impossible for me to get banned and am I going to get banned eventually?

I've never been banned for betting before.

Even if you baby sit your bot, it makes no difference, you're botting at the end of the day.

So yes you will eventually get banned. I'd stop doing hunter as well, hunter has one of the highest chances of getting banned.

So you can't actually use a bot to train an account that you intend to play on for as long as you would require? Are bots only for gold farmers then?

You're breaking the rules. If you are caught botting then you will be punished like all other botters even if you are just botting to level skills so you can skip the boring grinding part of the game. So to answer your question, bot until you think it's no longer worth the risk.

That's some very good advice. Just out of curiosity, how long do you think I could bot for before I will get banned?

Too many factors to take into account to say really. Avoiding high banrate skills would be a good start.

Then going with a decent script would be the second.

I just wonder how some people who do skills such as fishing get 90+ and don't ever get caught. It's really confusing, does jagex detect the client or the mouse movements/camera.

Well if we knew what Jagex uses to detect us then we wouldn't have all this trouble trying to avoid bans still. Trying the new looking glass if you're looking for a lower chance of getting banned. I've heard good things about it but you'll need vip extended though.

I like to think I have some experience botting, and specifically at building main accounts. I am posting a reply I made in an earlier thread. Most of it should still be applicable. Disclaimer: these are all opinions based off my personal experience.

Before I even start, realize that no matter how careful you are, not matter what you do, no matter what level your accounts are, they can be banned without warning at any time. NEVER BOT ON AN ACCOUNT THAT YOU ARE UNWILLING TO LOSE!!! Now that that is out of the way, on to the fun stuff.

It really depends on what kind of farm you are trying to run. I mainly deal with mains; I would rather make 200k/hr on 4 accounts over making 80k/hr with 10 accounts.  Are you trying to start a farm to make IRL cash, or are you making money for a main account?

If you are trying to make money for a main, I would advise against a large lvl 3 farm. Botting has gotten much harder over the last few years. The days are gone when you can run an account overnight an it be fine. Nowdays, that account is banned. Lots of people  who are new to farms end up losing money because they dont know what they are getting into. Theres more to it than just buying a bond and going to town. The people I have seen who have been successful have invested in multiple proxies that they spread their accounts over. If you make 20 accounts using the same IP address and 1 account gets stuck or reported, all accounts on that IP come under suspicion and will be banned.

If you are trying to keep your accounts for any amount of time (1 week+) this is my recommendation -

1. whatever script you use, make sure it is premium. The scripts that cost money are infinitely better than the free ones. In addition, less people use premium scripts. Fewer people using the same script means less chance of ban.

2. UTILIZE BREAKS. I believe that this is one of the number one things that jagex looks at. A human simply cant play runescape at max efficiency for over 6 hours at a time. Its a dead giveaway. I usually run my scripts over a 16 hour period with ~5-6 hours worth of breaks built in. For example 2 hr on, 1.5 hr break, 3 hr on, 2 hr break, ect.

3.Do not run more than 2 accounts on the same proxy. The few bans that I have received have occured when I went over 4 accounts per IP address.

Now realize what you are getting into -

A proxy is $5 a month, a good premium script is 10$ a month, bonds will run you ~$3.5 per 14 days

Before you even start making money, you have to make about 2m per account. Most goldfarming methods make 70-90k/hr. It will take 24 hours of continuous running to make your money back from the account. If you know a super secret awesome method that makes better money, then you will be able to make decent money.

If you are dead set on running a low level farm, read below.

On the weekdays, I would be surprised if any bot farm accounts last longer than 48 hours. The weekend is a different matter. I have NEVER heard of anyone losing an account over the weekend because of a ban. If you choose to do a bot farm, make the accounts around 12 EST friday and move the cash off around 11 EST sunday. If you run a farm over the weekend, you should FULLY expect to lose every one of your accounts come monday morning.

If you are new to botting, this is what I recommend that you do -

The higher total level an account, the less chance it will get banned. I rarely lose accounts once they get multiple skills over level 50. I would make 2 accounts on 2 different IP addresses and level up ~10 skills to level 30 (STAY AWAY FROM RUNECRAFTING) I would complete tutorial island by hand and complete a quest or 2. Gertrude's cat can be done in 10 minutes, cooks assistant can be done in less if you have the materials. The point I am trying to make is that you want your accounts to look different than the hordes of chineese goldfarmers who dont give a fuck and suicide bot. Once you have a few skills above level 30, get your magic to level 30 and head over to the mage training arena.   I HAVE FOUND THAT QUALITY>QUANTITY nowadays.

This is all based off my personal experience. Some of the large farmers would probably disagree. I have a few mains that have survived botting 12 hours a day for over 3 months. My methods work for me.

To summarize, if you are trying to keep your accounts from getting banned -

1.NEVER run them overnight

2.use breaks

3.avoid multiple accounts/ip address

4.use premium scripts

I hope that that isnt as messy as it looks. I'm happy to answer any other questions you have.

So, what do you use tribot for then? Also, what's the ban rate on fishing?

Well, I'm currently botting on a pure. I guess I won't be doing anymore botting and I'll just assume that I was extremely lucky to get to 70 hunter without being caught.

Please ignore this message and proceed with running the installer/application. We need to acquire a code signing certificate so that we can sign the installers letting the operating system know that these files can be trusted. It will take a week or more to acquire one, so please hold tight.

Other notable changes to the TRiBot Loader:

Support getting the version from OpenJDK distributions

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

    • Hello TRiBot,

Today we have a significant release that has been in the works for the last month addressing several key issues, features and bugs in the backlog.

With these changes, we are also including a new TRiBot Loader which will allow you to select any version that is released. This adds the flexibility of allowing you to revert to a previous version should an issue arise, run development only builds, view an accurate change log between versions etc. we are very proud to offer this feature and think it will add a lot more functionality down the road as we continue to release new versions.

These changes include 80+ commits by our development team, a list of them is summarized below and also available for your viewing pleasure in the new TRiBot Loader.

In addition, we have taken additional steps to improve as a development team by adding continuous integration and deployment into our workflow to assist in delivering timely releases such as bug fixes as well as new features on a weekly basis depending on our development cycle.

    • Over the last three weeks, I've been working on upgrading our server infrastructure. It's finally ready and is now live!

      Why?

Increased reliability - less server errors

      Increased availability - less downtime

Increased security - keeping us and you secure

Increased capacity - ability to serve you better

Increased speed - less waiting for things to load

Faster development - server and service updates will come faster

      What are the changes?

Move from a single AWS EC2 instance to AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)

      Distributed computing

      Load balancing

Git management of server files and filesystem

      Redis caching

      How?

AWS ECS (with 10 EC2 instances)

      AWS ElastiCache (Redis)

      AWS Load Balancing

      AWS EFS (Elastic file system)

Please bare with us as I continue to tune the server for maximum performance. Slow loading speeds may occur temporarily. I thank everyone for their patience.

Please post on this thread if you experience any issues other than slow loading times.
