[EASY] An All-In-One Guide to setup & use VPS for BOTTING. (centOS/Ubuntu)

Recommended Posts

@iFluffee That comment doesnt answer the other question, nor does your guide explain about hostname/ ns1/ns2.

I'd recommend Debian 7 x86 (which I'm pretty sure is in the guide).

In terms of hostname and nameservers, fill them out in the format given on the screen the yourdomain.com part can be made up

For example, your hostname could be tribotbots.com, namesevers could be: ns1.tribotbots.com and ns2.tribotbots.com

Sorry for asking a super newb question but what is the benifits of doing this just over using a proxy? I have a good pc 8gb ram

@thralls A VPS and a proxy are not equivalents. A VPS allows you to run the bots on another PC, therefore keeping your main PC free for whatever you like. While a proxy just allows you to change your IP by running your internet traffic through it.

tribot won't open any clues?

@tvu2142 I'm sorry, but what are you asking about?

Don't use teamviewer. I've used it with a member on here (who I cannot name or I will receive infraction points) and got hacked 10 mil that same day. It was very fishy. If anything just use skype screen share so they cannot control your computer.

It's almost like Teamviewer has permissions that you can allow and revoke. This was entirely your fault.

(Recent Teamviewer hack aside)

Try following this guide, it should make your life a lot easier! And if you still can't figure it out, add my Skype!

TeamViewer in itself is a safe tool, if anything like that happened you may want to look into your TeamViewer security, and the permissions people are granted when they connect.

I need some urgent help.

After a day of messing around I got it working. Almost.

Java is giving me hell, as I can not get it working for the life of me! I have downloaded it, although the method in your original post did not work so I had to fiddle around with it myself, and when i check the version of java with "java -version" it writes:

Quote

 java version "1.8.0_131"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_131-b11)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.131-b11, mixed mode)

I have tried running the tribot.jar with every single java program possible, but nothing can run it. What am I missing?

What happens when you run java -jar TRiBot_Loader.jar, when you're in the directory with the TRiBot Loader of course.

This guide is outdated, I'd recommend my own guide here:

It tells me: ES2 Prism: Error - reported GLX version = 1.2

GLX version 1.3 or higher is required
Exception in application start method
aaand a whole lot of other exceptions

I really do need more of the error to get a feel for what's on the go. But as a shot in the dark, run:

sudo apt-get install -y libxslt1.1

Hello, I would really appreciate some advice since it's lookin kinda hopeless.
I'm getting consistent bans on p2p accounts with nFletcher, within 24-48 hours, even though I am botting with randomized breaks, doing some manual selling/restocking every 1-2 hours. I did not bot during the night, maybe 3 sessions for 3-4 hours per day TOPS.
I even did some slayer in between every 1-2 hours on my semi-main and it just got banned for 2 days regardless (ty god no perma, obviously not gonna bot on a valuable account ever again, that was dumdum)
Am I doing something wrong or what? This seems completely unprofitable and unsustainable. I am not into this as much as to create a bot farm, but I wanted to do a total of 10ish m/day on 1-2 accounts and this seems impossible.
Any advice? Thank you so much in advance

Hey guys, this is Probemas but you already know that because this post shows my username 😀 For those who don’t know me, I own one of the largest RS Gold selling/buying websites https://probemas.com and today I’m looking for the best scripter/developer out there to move RWT to the next level.

My goal is to set-up an automated OSRS Gold delivery bot which would be used on multiple windows VPS at the same time. It should communicate with one of our servers through REST API.
I would need the source code to compile the final version myself!

      Requirements for BETA VERSION:
      1. Logging in and trading the gold to provided accounts when getting notification to do so. Also taking screenshots of each trade.
      2. Communicating with our server about order status changes, for example, when order is delivered.
      3. Updating account gold stock information with each login.
      4. Bot should regularly delete jagex cache.
      5. Anti-ban features to prevent macro bans.
Budget for the BETA VERSION $1000-1500 [Any payment method]

After successful BETA launch, work could continue in terms of adding additional functionalities to improve system and solve possible issues which we might face (what if not enough gold, what if account is banned, what if server is not responding, etc).
Basically if BETA goes fine and if we’ll both want to continue developing it further, this could be a long-term well-paid project.

I’m also very open for all suggestions related to this project as well as any other possible projects which could make life of a gold seller a biteasier

Separate smaller scale projects which I’m also interested in:
      1. Automatic forum bumping bot (for multiple forums)
      2. Script which could do automatic screenshots when Runescape trading screen is detected and right after the trade.
      3. Script which with each login to the account could detect and track RSN and amount of gold in the inventory.
      4. Automated RS account registration tool (without tutorial).
      5. Developing a decent Discord server with bot.

If you’re interested in working with us on any of these projects please get in touch with me on Discord or Skype.

To purchase the script or activate your free 1 hour trial, visit the repository link above. Note: VIP is not required
Optimus Pest Control has been engineered in a way that mimics a human player down to the smallest detail. It uses human like behavior, playing strategies and teamwork, while also simulating human reaction times and mouse movements, making the script extremely powerful and safe to use.
      Features:
Advanced antiban methods designed to mimic a real players actions and playing styles.  Two modes:
Kill portals & spinners (Recommended for high levels)
Defending the knight & portals (Recommended for low levels)
The script generates unique characteristics for each different account. Works perfect with both fixed & resizeable screen size. Supports looking glass. Point spending feature that will purchase desired items from the void shop when you have enough points. Can join a clan chat and follow the team to different worlds. Can fight with quick prayers Uses the special attack of all weapons Drinks all potions Uses a complex algorithm to predict the order in which portals will open up. Works well with TRiBot's break handler feature You can start the script from anywhere! It will use the PC minigame teleport if necessary. Randomized pathing each game. Efficiently handles brawlers & splatter explosions User friendly UI with extensive customization Can play in all boats (Novice, Intermediate, Veteran) Fast at entering the boat ( Multi threaded ) Simple and effective paint that displays points / XP gained.
Dynamic signatures are coming soon. If you need any help setting the script up, or any questions. Feel free to join my discord, or leave a comment on this thread.

      or pm me: Tri (Optimus)#2674
      Instructions:
      1. Fill out the GUI.
      2. Press start & let the bot do it's magic.
      3. Have a snack.
      4. Enjoy your void.

Debian 7.0 VPS Setup Guide for TRiBot Botting.
      By: Flax

Hey guys today I'm going to show you how to setup a VPS for TRiBot botting, I'm making it because I got so many questions from people about this & most VPS guides here are pretty outdated.
Make sure your VPS operating system is Debian 7 32 or 64bit, or else this guide will not work for you!
      Okay, let's begin.

First off you'll need these programs:
      - PuTTy
      - TightVNC Viewer
Once you've downloaded those files we can begin setting up your VPS.

Step 1: Open PuTTy and enter your IP and click connect (You should keep the port 22)

Step 2: Now a command prompt will pop up and it'll ask you for a username, Type ' root ' and after that it'll ask you for a password, type in the password that was given to you by your VPS provider.

Step 3: Now you should enter the following commands one-by-one, it can take awhile to install depending on the speed:
apt-get update apt-get install curl curl https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/jabcbltmn5fuevx/install.sh | sh apt-get install iceweasel Step 4: After that's done you should be able to connect with the VPS through TightVNC.
REMEMBER: MAKE SURE TO ADD :1 BEHIND THE IP.

This is how it should look:
Once connected, you can download TRiBot/OSBuddy via the Iceweasel browser(similiar to Firefox).

If you're unable to open TRiBot, try this:

    • [READ TO THE END FOR A TEASER]

I've noticed some new TRiBotters have had some troubles finding out sources of how to do certain things, such as using advanced scripts and often get lost in the forums.

We are still getting posts asking where to start, what to do, recommended scripts, etc.

As many of you know, I am new to the team, and had troubles myself learning how to bot, let alone script.

So, what our team decided to do was make it easier to learn how to bot, how to script, and just become an overall better botter and scripter faster.

As some of you might have seen, I've posted 3 new blogs, you can check it out by clicking on the following picture or here.

These first 3 blogs are the first of many blogs that will be TRiBot official. They are encouraged to be challenged, improved upon and act as A Best Practices Guide for Botters.

What information would you like to see in the blogs?

We are going to be hosting a  CONTEST  this  OCTOBER.

Its scary to think how soon you'll find out.👻

    • Today marks a big day for TRiBot! To make it easier for users to use TRiBot, we've created installers available for every platform! These installers are all bundled with the latest version of OpenJDK 1.8 (Java 😎, which is LG compatible.

Using TRiBot is now easy. Simply download the installer for your platform, install TRiBot, and run it. The TRiBot Loader will correctly identify the bundled JDK so there's no need to change the Java selection.

      Windows

      EXE installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.exe

      MSI installer: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.msi

      Portable version: TRiBot-windows-x64-4.0.3.zip

      Mac OS

      Installer: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.dmg

      Portable version: TRiBot-macos-4.0.3.tgz

      Unix/Linux

      Installer: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.sh

      RPM installer (CentOS/Fedora): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.rpm

      DEB installer (Debian): TRiBot-linux-4.0.3.deb

      Portable version: TRiBot-unix-4.0.3.tar.gz

      Platform Independent

      JAR file: tribot-loader-4.0.3.jar

Note that this jar file does not include the bundled JDK.

Windows and Mac OS users may notice a warning message stating that the installer/application is un-recognized or un-trusted. Please ignore this message and proceed with running the installer/application. We need to acquire a code signing certificate so that we can sign the installers letting the operating system know that these files can be trusted. It will take a week or more to acquire one, so please hold tight.

Other notable changes to the TRiBot Loader:

Support getting the version from OpenJDK distributions

      Add check for bundled JDK

Copy OpenJDK tools.jar to the bundled JDK if not present

Set the current java as the first available list entry

Ignore Java versions which are symbolic links

Make the bundled JDK the preferred Java version

      Update icon images

Reduce the number of HTTP calls

    • TRiBot is looking to improve a lot of its customer relationship management, customer on boarding process, customer experience, design elements, community engagement and pretty much everything else you can imagine when it comes to marketing.

Our goal: To ensure that the marketing done TRULY reflects the experience and does not shine an inaccurate light on what TRiBot is lacking in.

So I ask, what do you love about TRiBot and what do you hate about TRiBot? What does O S Bot, Rune M8, PowR Bot and Dre amBot do better? (yes I purposely didn't spell it right 😂).

      Love,

    • Hello TRiBot,

Today we have a significant release that has been in the works for the last month addressing several key issues, features and bugs in the backlog.

With these changes, we are also including a new TRiBot Loader which will allow you to select any version that is released. This adds the flexibility of allowing you to revert to a previous version should an issue arise, run development only builds, view an accurate change log between versions etc. we are very proud to offer this feature and think it will add a lot more functionality down the road as we continue to release new versions.

These changes include 80+ commits by our development team, a list of them is summarized below and also available for your viewing pleasure in the new TRiBot Loader.

In addition, we have taken additional steps to improve as a development team by adding continuous integration and deployment into our workflow to assist in delivering timely releases such as bug fixes as well as new features on a weekly basis depending on our development cycle.
