these proxies are soo slow at the moment, I don't know what is going on but for the past week they are so slow.  I know its these proxies because I have used other proxies, work great and used no proxies and tribot worked great but when I try to use these, they are so slow and can't even load most scripts

We've been dealing with a lot of issues this week.

If you can make a ticket so I can identify what servers are having issues I can actually resolve it.

 

We've fixed the problems with most of the servers by now. Basically, two servers had their storage devices fail, and all week multiple internet service providers for the datacenters we use have had issues. This isn't just our servers. It's the thousands of servers in these datacenters. And they have something like 20Gbps per section or something of data, but they've been having slowdowns due to various problems. But most of it should be cleared up. If you're still having issues, please, please, make a ticket so I can troubleshoot it and make sure it works great.

Update: the two servers are back up and running great. I also think we fixed the proxies being "slow" so please let me know if it improved! This was a combination of the network issues as well as the server being bruteforced. Basically, this is a very common thing: the default port for accessing a VPS is 22, and there's Chinese "bot farms" of sorts that uses thousands of IPs to bruteforce common passwords, which also ends up lagging the VPS they're bruteforcing. Now, we have a system in place that detects most of these, and I guess their system is kind of like how Jagex and bots fight with eachother. One improves, the other improves. 

 

So what happened was they just lowered their threshold to go under our system. This made them far less effective at slowing down the server or hacking people, but it just kept it at the appropriate level to add some annoying lag for some customers. We've updated our thesholds. We also sent out an e-mail telling people how they can further secure their servers. And yes, since we give you full access to the VPS for the proxy, you do actually have a server :)

 

 

Anyway, I've decided to change the port number to a non-standard port for all future proxies made. I'll be rolling out this update soon.

As much as I'd love to be, I'm not able to be online 24/7 so sometimes you'll need to wait until we can meet up online. However I'm typically online 8+ hours a day.

I had an account banned because i was stupid enough to use a dodgy script that got me instabanned. I see you have a "1 free ip change per payment" policy... how do i go about doing this? You say to contact you, but im guessing i should do it through virmach yet i can't find any contact options anywhere! Please advise,

bought a proxy nearly 24 hours ago from yoho and it still isn't working at all

 

Are you sure you have applied it correctly?

Make sure that the username is: root

Port: 1080

password: The one you chose.

 

Or explain what is wrong and if it's still not working file a ticket on their site and someone else might help you.

bought twice now from yohojo already, went first, trades went as expected, smooth and (mostly) on time delivery with the rsgp method. his partners site provides instant delivery with credit/debit which i also used once and did indeed receive my goods instantly.

      I'm having difficulties connecting my bots through my proxies.  I've confirmed that the proxies themselves are working by connecting directly through them in my LAN settings on windows, and then visiting WhatsMyIP.  Using the LAN settings method I'm also able to load TRiBot and load a client.  When I try loading Tribot normally without proxies, it loads,and launching clients without proxies works.  If I try launching tribot OR a client with the same proxies I had confirmed working, I get a timeout in the former case and a perpetual "Loading client params" in the latter.
      Has anybody else experienced anything similar and is there something obvious I'm overlooking? Thank you for your input

      Hi I got a proxy server from Virmach. I cannot seem to get Tribot to connect to it. I have gotten a 3rd party internet browser called Maxthus to get it to work so I don't think that its the server that's not working. Yes I have VIP-E as well. Please help thanks!

      Important changes

      When logging into the client, you'll now have to enter your Auth0 account credentials instead of your forums credentials

      Note: 2FA is still handled through your forums account (for the time being)

      Auth0 accounts have been created for most existing users. Please use your forums email address and password to login.

      It's not possible to change email addresses for the time being (this will be resolved this August)


      Changing passwords is a weird process for the time being. To change your password, you'll have to use the "Don't remember your password" tool on the Auth0 login page

    • Over the past month, we've been working hard on TRiBot's new repository - a much needed update. This change has been deemed necessary for TRiBot X, and will allow us to really speed up development of all aspects of TRiBot.

      Today we are going to share what we've been working on!


      Now you must be wondering what kind of features the new repository will have.... well, you'll have to be patient for a little while longer. We're still figuring out various technical aspects so we can't provide answers to all possible questions. We're also focusing on development rather than writing about it so that everyone can get access to our latest developments at lightning speed. I will however answer a few users' questions.

      We're planning on a release of this early to mid August, giving users some goodies before TRiBot X's release.
