What is Sigma Merch 3?
After a long wait, Sigma Merch 3 has been released, and is now being consistently updated (as of 12/30/2014). If you encounter any bugs report them immediately. Making sure our scripts are as stable and flawless as possible is our number one priority. Make sure your bug reports are specific and descriptive.

It was our goal to make a merchanting script that keeps your account unbanned for the longest, and we have succeeded! Sigma Merch has been proven to have a lower ban rate and a significantly higher income rate than the competition. If you get banned, let us know what you were doing so we can add anti-ban features to counteract how you were detected. Happy Merchanting!

    -> Answer PMs.
-> Choose from a large list of possible answers (won't say the same thing over and over).
-> Will use type-os (if enabled).
-> Go down a conversation path. For example, if the player asks "are you a bot?" twice in a row, the Sigma Merch 2.0 might first respond with "no i'm not", and then respond with "i just told you i'm not" when asked again.
-> Save conversations in a local text file, so you can review them later to see what was said.
-> Totally revamped the message typing system that is far more dynamic.
-> Multi-selling is now far more powerful! It will:
-> Try to guess what the play wants to buy when they put up gp.
-> Tell a player when it is out of stock of a particular item.
-> Lag on script end has been fixed.
-> Added a random offset for message delays.
-> Added a confirm dialog when deleting a template.
-> Fixed a bug where message colors and animations wouldn't always be saved correctly.

Version 1

Version 1.0
-> Initial Release

Version 1.1
-> The script should be completely exception (error) free. If any are thrown, take a screenshot and send it to me on Skype.
-> More CPU optimization
-> A maximum of 75 trades will be saved in each item's trade log to save memory.
-> Fixed a bug where the script would spam click the Trade chat while hovering over it if it had already clicked it.
-> Fixed a bug where selling messages would always appear for an item that had buying disabled while multi-selling was also disabled.
-> Your player will now use a Varrock Teleport tablet upon failing a random, or log out if no tablets are available.
-> Your player will now use a Varrock Teleport tablet upon leaving a 100 tile radius of your starting tile, or log yout if no tablets are available. (A safety precaution if you are teleported due to a random event or some other cause)
-> Multi-selling messages have been slightly improved to seem more human-like.
-> Zybez offers will no longer upload for buying/selling when the item is not being bought/sold, respectively.

Version 1.2
-> Added a delay before pressing Accept/Decline to make the script seem more human.
-> Fixed a bug where the time would not display correctly when the script had been running for more than 24 hrs.
-> Mouse speeds will now randomly adjust automatically to make the script seem more human.
-> Added a new message command, "{ibq}" that will calculate how many of the item you can buy based on your current gold.
-> The "{iq}" message command has been changed to "{isq}".

Version 1.3
-> Message effect support has been added!
-> Trade logic has been completely reworked. Actions taken by the script should be smoother and less glitchy. Extensive testing has been done on the new logic, but If you happen find the script doing anything it shouldn't be doing, report it to me immediately so it can be fixed.
-> Noted item ID support has been added! Non-noted items will be traded first to save space, and then if that still isn't enough to complete the trade, noted items will be used for the remainder of the trade.
-> The maximum trades that will be saved in the trade log has been increased from 75 to 150.
-> Paint now updates slower, but uses significantly less CPU.
-> Random event failure support has been added. If you fail a random event and are teleported away, you will teleport back to Varrock using a tele tab. (Cammy tab support is coming soon). If you have Varrock tabs disabled or for any other reason cannot teleport, the script will log out and stop to protect you.
-> How-To guide has been added to the GUI help menu!
-> Tips guide has been added to the GUI help menu!
-> A new mouse paint has been added!
-> The {rin} message command now shows a formatted number.

Version 1.3.1
-> Fixed a NullPointerException that was occasionally being thrown.
-> Added a "Potential Profits" stat to the Overall Stats section of the Paint GUI. This will show you how much potential gold you have made. In other words, this stat will take buying items into account.

-> Added a "Total Value" stat to the Overall Stats section of the Paint GUI. This will show you how much all of the items + gold in your inventory are worth.
-> A "Ban List" has been added to the Tips section of the Help menu. This will show you what people were merching when they got banned, so you can avoid these items, and thus avoid getting banned.

-> Script will not longer occasionally stop upon exiting a random even when only buying/selling is enabled.
-> Script will now offer items/gold even if you are no longer spamming the message for that transaction (so you don't lose sales).
-> If there are any unrecognized items on your side of the final trade screen, the trade will automatically be declined (security feature).
-> A new, rainbow mouse paint has been added!

Version 1.4.1

I think i need a little help i bought your bot and i tried running it and all it does is says its downloading and never brings up any kind of interface or anything ive left it like this for hours. what do i do?

Sounds like a client-side issue to me. The GUI will only appear once you have logged in, but to me it seems like the script never finishes downloading. If you still can't get it to download, report the issue in the Client Bugs forum.

The interface is extremely buggy as it lags very badly.

EDIT: Not only is the interface very laggy, once the script starts its extremely laggy. (No it's not my computer I have a Intel 4770K with no other applications opened)

Once I hit the "Add" button (item) the entire script/interface lags and I have to wait 1-2 minutes before I can type 1 letter.

If there is anything in the debug, please post it here. Otherwise, I think I have fixed it. It appears that TRiLeZ's message listener is broken at the moment though, so I need to talk to him and see what is going on with that.

The update fixed the lag, although there are many problems I found with the script.

1) If it is set to "RuneScapes Autotyper" it keeps typing it in, it is an autotyper there is no need to keep typing.

2)It does not accept trades

3)There is no option to misspell words on purpose

4)There should be an option that would allow a mixture of RuneScape's typer and the script typing

5)I also tested out the auto-responder and it does not appear to be working

Thanks.

  1. Set your message speed to be one of the longer options (2-5 minutes maybe), and then the autotyper will update it's message at an appropriate time.
  2. Client bug, it will be fixed whenever TRiLeZ gets around to fixing the message listener.
  3. Yes there is (one of the checkboxes under General Options).
  4. In what way? And why?
  5. Most likely also because of the message listening being broken, but I'll look into it. How exactly did you test it?

Thanks for the quick response and support. I have just been muted and would like to ask if there's any way to be more conservative and avoid mutes, using RuneScape's typer will not show on most people's chats as most Runescape users have their chat on "hide" showing only what people type and not the autotyper. I used the manual typer with slow speed and still managed to get muted, if you have any solution to this please let me know. Thank you!

Unfortunately the only reliable thing you can do is use the supported typer. Jagex is going to be working hard to mute those not using their autotyper, so you are going to get muted sooner or later if you aren't using it.

I would recommend finding the location for whatever item you are merching, and then set up the autotyper in that location. Most of the time when people are looking for an item they will enable the auto-typer filter so they will be able to see your messages.

EDIT: On another note, I have noticed a bug where the responder will type the messages into the auto-typer as well as the spam messages, which isn't supposed to happen. I have fixed this on my local version, and will be uploading it shortly.

Nice Script but:

Doesn't always accept trades and after a while it stops saying 'ty' or generated message after successful trade.

If you are in a busy area the TRiBot message listener will not always work properly. There isn't really anything I can do about that.
