TRiBot RS3

  • TRiBot now officially has RS3 support!

 

How Does TRiBot RS3 Work?

  • TRiBot RS3 mainly uses OpenGL interception. It also uses reflection for tile position and animations.
  • OpenGL interception and limited reflection are excellent for many reasons:
    • No client downtime. When RuneScape® is updated, all that is needed to be done is to restart TRiBot. You will not have to wait for the bot to be updated for you to start botting again.
    • More human-like in nature
      • A flaw with reflection and injection bots is that they can "see" too much data. An example is that they know exactly where the next off-screen object or NPC is, and will navigate straight to that object or NPC. With OpenGL interception, the bot has to rotate the camera, or search for the object or NPC in different areas - much like a human would do.
    • Less detectable than injection clients.
      • Injection clients work by downloading the RuneScape® loader, decrypting the client files, injecting their code into the client files, then booting the client while skipping the loader.
      • TRiBot RS3 does not do this. What it does is it downloads the loader, then runs it, much like a browser would do. It does not inject any code or directly boot the client like other botting clients do.

What Are the Requirements to Run TRiBot RS3?

  • Windows as an operating system (Linux support is in the works)
  • A graphics card or chip with OpenGL support.
    • Caution: VPSs won't work with TRiBot RS3 unless they have hardware acceleration support.
  • The latest distribution of Java 7 32-bit. Some AMD users are able to use 64-bit.
  • Make sure to check out the proper layout for RS3 botting thread.

How Much Does TRiBot RS3 Cost?

  • It's currently free with unlimited instances.

How Do I Run TRiBot RS3?

  • Download the TRiBot Loader here if you haven't already.
  • Un-select the "Old-School Client" box. You may also need to set the "Max Heap Size" to 512.
  • Press login.

Is TRiBot RS3 Unable to Load the Client in OpenGL Mode?

 

That should cover everything related to TRiBot RS3.

 

 

 

In other news:

  • TRiBot Old-School's random event handler will now attempt to run away from combat upon a random event. The reason why this has been implemented so late is because it's better for scripts themselves to move the character to a safe spot before trying to solve the random. TRiBot can only guess at where a safe spot is.
    • Scripters: Implement RandomEvents and add code to move to a different location if your script is a combat script.
  • The Frog random solver has been fixed.
  • The Old-School Combat API has been updated.
  • Other background bug-fixes.
  • TRiBot Release 9.00_2: Contains a bunch of bug fixes.

      RS3 Support Removed

      The RS3 client hasn't been updated since our Old-School version of TRiBot was released, as many of you may have noticed. Keeping all of the RS3 code in the client made the client as a whole harder to maintain, larger, slower, and messier. As hardly anyone still uses the RS3 client, and since the RS3 API was hardly functioning, we made the decision to completely remove it from TRiBot.

      For the average user, this means that the client will be smaller, cleaner, and faster. Future updates will also take less work meaning there will be more frequent updates.

      If you were one of the few users still using the RS3 client, we apologize for the inconvenience. No future support for RS3 is planned. There are many other botting clients which has support for RS3, so we recommend finding an alternative if you wish to continue botting on RS3.
