TRiBot Beta 7.00_0

116 posts in this topic

TRiBot Beta 7.00_0 has been released. This release includes two big additions:

  • Web Walker
  • Auto Responder
The web walker uses Dijkstra's formula to travel across the pre-defined nodes of the game landscape. The web walker has been designed to be capable of handling any obstacle and travel to any location. You name it, door, ladders, stairs, gates, and even boats! Nothing will stand in the way of TRiBot's web walker.

Here is a video of it in action:

Currently it is able to travel to almost any location. The locations it cannot yet fully travel to are: Morytania, most of Karajama, the Khardian desert, and the lone islands. However, those areas will be mapped out very soon.

The API is here: https://tribot.org/doc/org/tribot/api2007/WebWalking.html

The Auto Responder - coded by USA - is able to have a conversation with any player talking to it. But don't worry about the auto responder responding too often as it is smart enough to accurately detect when players are talking to the bot. Users can disable the auto responder through the script menu.

A minor update is that TRiBot's 07 Message Listener was re-written.

Hopefully the memory leak in 6.11_2 is fixed as well!

I assume that it doesn't take into consideration account levels? In the video it walks through the wolf mountain, would it take the same path on a level 3 (which wouldn't survive the mountain)?

Is web walking accurate? As in the tile it walks to.

Yes as long as the destination tile is close to a mapped node on the web.

It's designed to be able to. I just have to write some code to do so.

Can it handle thieving doors? IE: if it fails to open the door, it will try again

Will it use teleports if it has them in the inventory

Can you make a map of the RS world and show exactly what is mapped out please. It would help a lot on scripts that require user input occasionally.

Can it handle doors that require you to use an item on them (bronze key on hill giants door)

Trilez is splitting the method up so it should work properly for the next update in a bit.

Additionally it's not letting me import the new JAR or webwalking.

Make sure you removed the last one from your class path, also restart eclipse. Edited by Thebat

Vid looked cool, Kinda wish you made him enter the mages guild and go to the top level  it would have been a sick way to end the video. Kudos for trying to improve TRiBot and pushing your coding abilitys. Keep up the work. Everything can be improved, do not settle for poor quality, Make Bank in The Process And Fuck Bitches Every Day,
