  1. Really? I heard it wasn't as strong as expected and had a mad crash after.... what'd you experience?
  2. never heard of ketosis ? pretty much 0 carbs So you suggest keto to everyone? Okay... to his her own but it's a hell of a lot harder to get someone on keto and stick to it than a normal diet with no extra results or anything. As an experienced personal trainer, trust me on this one. Clients already don't want to work out and watch their diet, 0 carbs is not what they want to hear. no it was just a suggestion of where low carbs are implanted..... Yeah and I understand that, but at the end of the day, it's all about getting your client or even yourself to practice program adherence and stick to the program.
  3. I did that exact same diet for a while. 4 hours window 1.8k total kcal, never noticed any extra fat loss. Coach got me cutting on a around 2.45k cals right now? Cheat days = no thanks jeff why so many brah? So you're saying Intermittent Fasting doesn't work? I was planning to try it out when I cut in 6 months or so. IF is one of the best diets out there along with keto.. give it a go, if you stick to it you wont be disappointed.. Bodycomposition wise... how is IF a different diet then if you consume 2.45k calories in your window, vs me consuming 2.45k throughout the day? I understand keto is a different way to approach things too but you have to understand keto is extremely huge because people like to look lean 24/7 and keto has the body in a flat state through the whole day because of the lack of carbs This is my teammate under the same coach... http://www.youtube.com/user/TheTigerFitness Interview with my coach: http://www.shreddednation.com/john-otis-hollywood-interview/

Cheat days = no thanks jeff why so many brah? you sure you didnt notice any good fat loss? damn i do!, did you stick to the 4 hour window so you only had water or sugerfree drinks during the fast?.. omg coahces sometimes dont know shit srs, 2.45k cals to cut will be so damn slow maybe even a bulk depending on your metabolic rate.. give 1.6k cal defict a go.. and tell me how it goes? or mix IF up with keto using extreme deficits will lead to too much muscle loss... 2.45k has me losing 1lb+ per week because of my total energy expedenture through cardio and weight training... if they didnt know anything why would competitors need them? Of course I noticed good fat loss cus my macros were on point. Was it extremely good compared to what I'm doing now at 2.45k? Nope. Do I enjoy life a lot more eating at 2.45k? Yes.
  6. That's the most messed up routine in the world. Who says your abs can be trained everyday? It's just like every other muscle with the need of rest. You're supposed to "train" them everyday by activating them in the compound exercises (squats, bench, dead) but not do crunches till you pass out or do cardio twice in a routine while working out bodyparts in the weirdest order ever. Your muscle is going to grow through hypertrophy. How do you reach that if you train arms, legs, and back only at 3x10 and then doing 15 min cardio? Where is the blood flow going to concentrate?
  7. Lower carbs to an extremely unhealthy level of 50g a day? Lower fats to 20-30g per day? Where are the studies backing this information up because I know tons of people that compete that don't even go this low because even cutting on 40g for a while is unhealthy. Are you aware of the metabolic damage that occurs eating this low? I'm a certified personal trainer myself by 3 of the top companies in the US, and compete, and this just looks outrageous to me.
  8. Great routine for strength right here +1
  9. I haven't heard anything good about N.O. Xplode, only that you build immunity to it really fast.. +1. NO xplode is one of those prop blends that work for a while, but dont pack as much a punch as a good preworkout should. It's all in the supplement profiling.

Everything works as long as at the end of the day your calories in vs calories out numbers are correct. Go ahead and try it out when you cut. In mine and tons of others opinions, it's just an eating protocol for those who don't have the time or choose not to eat throughout the day and prefer to eat within a timed window. But much like carbs post workout, fst-7 among other things, IF is a "special" method developed by Martin to seperate him from other trainers and add something special as to why people would need him and his methods.
  11. If anyone has any questions on IIFYM feel free to post here or shoot me a PM and I'll answer as soon as possible! -Gatsby Ehh.. Id prefer a gram of protein from an egg than a gram from a big mac.. Just saying. Also you should post where you quoted that from Do you prefer that just because of health reasons?

  13. I'll post em in the progress section for my contest prep journal when I have time By peds you mean performance enhancing drugs right? What are you on exactly? Versa-1 has helped with energy, but really energy is mostly on you besides drinking coffee and stuff
  14. Congratulations, you should try to be Mr. Olympia.
