  1. Using Break Handler: A Quick Guide For Automating Breaks Similar to the script queue, using the break handler is used to mitigate ban rates. Once you’ve loaded your account, select View > Break Handler and enter your run time, duration and randomness using the following steps: Select the line to enter your break handler information. Do this first or your information will reset. Filling out Run time, Duration and Occurrence credentials Run time: This is how long the script will run before it takes a break. Example: by entering 01:30:00, your bot will run for 1 hour, 30 minutes. Randomness: This is how long the script run time will vary at random. Example: by entering 00:20:00, your bot will run for less than or more than the run time up to 20 minutes each cycle. Duration: This is how long the script will break. Example: by entering 00:20:00, your bot will run for 20 minutes. Randomness: This will randomize the duration of the break. Example: entering 00:05:00 could make your break last for up to 5 minutes longer or shorter than the original duration of the break. This is totally random. Occurrence: This gives you 2 options. Once: Break once. Repeat: Break and repeat indefinitely. Save the information entered in step one using the save button. Repeat steps 1-3 until you’ve selected the breaking scheme you desire Save your breaking information under a name that's easy to remember. This name is saved as your Break Profile can be used when using the Client Starter or when running a script. Example: mainbreak-1/2/3/4 Note: After saving the break profile, in order to use your created Break Profile, run your script after you create the break profile. 2. Using Account Manager: A Quick Guide for Automated Account Management Adding your RuneScape account info to the client allows you to automate two things: Log you back into the game if you were logged out for some reason. Start the script from the welcome screen. This is because the Account Manager saves your account names, passwords and pins. The Account Manager also lets users: pick a preferred world let the script use your bank pin select which skills you want the TRiBot random-event handler to use experience lamps on The account manager feature is available to both free and VIP members: Free members: can use this as a reference guide for multiple accounts VIP members: can use this function to mass load their bots into the client starter. The following Quick Guide provides insight into how to create accounts along with some security best practices (there’s a fast, risky way and a slower, less risky way).. Manage your account sign ups outside of TRiBot: Use Fluffee’s Account Management Template (Google Doc) Learn how to set up account manager: view chrismoon’s tutorial posted on our forum. Learn tips and tricks for making mass amounts of accounts with Fluffee's Ultimate Guide to Botting: Part One - Account Creation and Management Although not mandatory, it is recommended to set an encryption key or password for your account manager profile. How To Use Your Account Manager Accounts When Activating A Script Open TRiBot Client > New Client Script > New Script Enter Account Manager password (if any) Select your Script Activate one of our free scripts from the TRiBot Repository or upgrade to VIP To Choose your Break Profile, See: Using Break Handler: A Quick Guide to Automating Breaks for how to set up break handler. 3. The Quick Guide to TRiBot Success: Knowing your TRiBot Client As a beginner to TRiBot, it is critical to be familiar with the features of the TRiBot Client. All features are added to help decrease ban rates and increase efficiency. The purpose of this blog is to shorten the massive learning curve that comes with botting. Many botters go years without knowing all of the great features of TRiBot, which can often be costly since the goal is usually to bot multiple accounts at scale. The following guide will cover each of the tabs once you’ve downloaded TRiBot. If you haven’t downloaded TRiBot yet, please do so here (clicking the link will automatically download TRiBot). File > Settings In the file tab of your client, think of this as your personal administration panel. This is where you can adjust the look and feel, turn on and off key settings that impact your botting experience and automate the startup of the RuneScape Client. The following explains the purpose of the features that are currently active to TRiBot users: Client Paint Delay: As you increase paint delay, your cursor will lag more. This is because it decreases the frames per second (FPS), leading to a decrease in computer processor utilization. ↑Client Paint Delay ↓Computer Processor Utilization Note: if you increase client paint delay too much, then you will begin to impact script performance negatively (depends on script). For example a bossing script you can only decrease paint delay too much. you should have at least 10-20FPS to function normally with combat scripts. a mining script could probably function great with 5FPS. Mouse Speed Variance Limiter: Since the default mouse speed for all users is 100. If your mouse speed variance limiter is 10, that means that your mouse speed cannot be set to below 90 or above 110. It will cap at 100 +/- the limit. Mouse speed variance of 0 removes any limitations. Lite Mode (default): Lite Mode gives you the basic Windows, Mac or Linux graphics for the TRiBot client. Turning off lite mode allows you to change the theme of your client How to do this: Turn off Lite Mode (File > Settings > Uncheck lite mode) Lite TRiBot Client vs TRiBot Official OSRS Bot Client Other settings to consider: Setting Description Only Load Local Scripts Utilized by scripters to edit and improve scripts. Autostart Client Automatically load OSRS on the TRiBot client once the client is opened. Restart Client on Update Keep this setting off if you are botting for long periods of time. Our team works 24 hours a day updating TRiBot. Enable Human Mouse (If you are a VIP or VIP Extended subscriber) Scripts default to have a single line drawn between two points (x,y). This can be detected as bot behaviour by Jagex. Human Mouse Movements make the behaviour between two points more human like. Script/Client I mentioned in my previous blog Running Your First Script how to use the Script and Client tabs. These two tabs are where you will gain access to the RuneScape client through TRiBot. TRiBot has two options for botting RuneScape: Botting in the TRiBot Client Botting in the OSRS Client using the TRiBot Looking Glass feature (VIP Extended) The difference between these two options is the ability to reduce ban rates. The Looking Glass feature attempts to reduce ban rates by eliminating the possibility of the TRiBot client being detected as you are connecting to RuneScape using the mirrored client. LG does this by running TRiBot Client and RuneScape Client separately rather than in the same TRiBot client. You can also use the script/client tabs to: Block user input - Blocks user input with the OSRS botting software with the exception that users can send a click event using a double click. Block all user input - Block’s all user input entirely. Manually set up a single account using a proxy View View > Run time Information Here are some resources to help you manage what you see when you select View > Run time Information. Heapsize: This controls how much memory you allow the Java Virtual Machine to use. See this tutorial on Reducing CPU and Memory Usage by TRiLeZ. Java Home: Where TRiBot is stored on your computer. Proxy: This is the IP address you’re running your connection from. Please note that the proxy only applies to the runescape client connection. if for instance, you try to grab price data or any other data, it will use the home IP. See Fluffee's Ultimate Guide to Botting: Part Two - All About Proxies. TRiBot Version: To ensure you have the most up to date version of TRiBot, view our client updates forum. Uptime: View how long you’ve been botting. View > Client Starter [VIP Extended Only] If you are botting 2 or more accounts, I recommend using the client starter. This is where you can save a lot of time RuneScape botting, especially if you’re gold farming multiple accounts and using proxies. The interface allows you to manage clients with the left side bar, save your accounts and automate your setup time. Manage Clients With The Left Side Bar: Follow the TRiBot Golden Rule of Anti Ban, which is running 1 account per client. This is because some issues with script variables have been known to leak over from one tab to another. As a beginner, what this means to you is that botting more than 1 account per client will increase risk of ban. Manage Accounts in a Client: Input the following Account name: RuneScape profile name or email (exact) Script name: Name of script (exact) World: Ensure you select a non-member world or low level world based on your accounts RuneScape settings. Break Profile: Activate breaks that have been set up in View > Break Handler Script Command: Bypass the scripts GUI automatically, reducing setup time with a simple command (Example: location: rimmington, tree: willows). Please note that not all scripts support this function. Proxy Saving your client starter: After making all the client and account combinations you want. You can save your clients (File > Save Profile). Use a clear naming convention so you stay organized. Example: tutorialisland_accounts1-10_breakprofile1_chinaproxy1 Automate Your Setup Time: Before using the Client Starter Open TRiBot Client Enter TRiBot username and password Client > New Client Search through all the accounts for the account you want to load using an account management spreadsheet Script > New Script Choose a script you want to load for that account View > Break Handler Choose a break profile that you want to use for that account Cry and repeat for # of accounts desired. Just kidding botting is still fun. After using the Client Starter Open TRiBot Client Enter TRiBot username and password View > Client Starter File > Load Profile Click Run Enter TRiBot Account Manager password Watch the client starter open all the clients for you, load the world, select the script, account, and click start for you and maybe even fill out the GUI. Let the magic (or other skill ) happen *This tutorial may look familiar to many VIP Extended members and is intended to be an insight into the capabilities of using VIP Extended. For the full version, learn more on the tutorial: How to Use the TRiBot Client Starter [Make botting easier & a MUST for goldfarmers]. Ready to sign up for VIP Extended? You can do so here. View > Script Queue Often used by gold farmers, the Script Queue is an anti ban mechanism that helps botters diversify what skills they train with a chain of bots since you can switch between scripts automatically, training different skills, just like you would if you were actually playing RuneScape. This is also highly valuable because it can link scripts with partial features together to make a larger, more functional script without requesting an AIO script from a private scripter. Define your Max Runtime: By entering 01:30:00, your bot will run for 1 hour, 30 minutes. +/- : This is the randomness of the max runtime. By entering 00:20:00, your bot will randomly run for less than or more than the max runtime up to 20 minutes each cycle. Define your Start Delay: By entering 00:30:00, your bot will delay for 30 minutes. +/-: This is the randomness of the max runtime. By entering 00:10:00, your bot will randomly run for less than or more than the max runtime up to 10 minutes each cycle. Up/Down: Changes the order of the script (up = earlier, down = later) Start: Starts the TRiBot Client with the loaded Script Queue Queue Add Script: Loads scripts you’ve activated in the TRiBot Repository Remove Script: Self explanatory Run: Starts the Tribot Client with the loaded Script Queue. File: New Queue:Overwrites the current loaded Script Queue settings, but keeps the max run time. Load Queue: Loads saved queues. Save Queue: Saves the loaded script Queues. An example of how to use the script queue can be found in the tutorial Using Script Queue: A Quick Guide For Chain Botting (to be added) View > Bot Overview [VIP Exclusive] If you are a VIP member, you are likely to be using multiple bots. Similar to myself, many botters get caught up in the infinite tabs of death. Which in layman's terms means that you have too many bots working at the same time, creating a messy osrs botting operation. The Bot Overview tab allows you to avoid this stress by providing a dashboard overview of your bots. We encourage botters to use naming conventions for their bots such as magicaccount-1/2/3/4 or mule-1/2/3/4 to stay organized. View > Break Handler [A Quick Guide to Automating Breaks] Similar to the script queue, using the break handler is used to mitigate ban rates. Example: by entering 00:20:00, your bot will run for less than or more than the runtime up to 20 minutes each cycle. Repeat: Break regularly. Save the information entered in step one using the save button. Repeat steps 1-3 until you’ve selected the breaking scheme you desire Save your breaking information under a name that's easy to remember. This name is saved as your Break Profile can be used when using the Client Starter or when running a script. Example: main break-1/2/3/4 Note: After saving the break profile, in order to use your created Break Profile, run your script after you create the break profile. View > Account Manager Eventually, your botting operation will be limited by time. TRiBot’s Account Manager function allows users to skip manual account entry and save precious time reserved for generating gold. View > Firewall It is recommended to turn off the TRiBot Firewall because many new worlds that Jagex uses trigger the firewall and freezes the script. View > Proxy Editor [VIP Extended] If you are a VIP member, this is where you enter your proxies. Check out the following tutorial to get a baseline understanding on proxies. 4. TRiBot Repository Basics for Botters The TRiBot repository is where you manage your free and premium scripts and subscriptions. It works using a credit system. Scripts can be sorted by name, category and price, and can be searched by keyword. Along the left side of the repository is your User Panel. Use this to navigate the repository. The following will explain each navigation object. Overview: This is a great place to find out what scripts you have. Purchase Credits: You can purchase credits directly through the repository using PayPal or Credit Card (Stripe). Credits are used to buy scripts. Transfer Credits: Looking to do some trading, or just help a friend out? Connect with our community on our Black Market Forum for information on buying and selling credits. Keep in mind that there is a credit limit and you must be an active VIP to trade credits. Purchase History: A great place to budget your gold farm, or just keep track of your purchases! Instance Manager: Premium scripts have a fixed number of instances. Knowing how many instances you have left and expiration dates are essential to a successful botting. Purchase VIP: Select the price package that works for you. Recover Account: Locked out? We have a number of secure account recovery mechanisms to help you recover your account. - Below the Users Panel is the Scripter's Panel. Don't worry about that right now (blog post TBD) - Alright, you know how to navigate. Now I'm going to show you an advanced script. Often users will build their RuneScape accounts to become eligible to use more advanced scripts. To start out, choose the category Money Making and click i Info for the |w| Zulrah Slayer V2 script. This script is created by one of TRiBot’s Premium Scripter’s, @Worthy. This is the most popular script for advanced botters which can be purchased using TRiBot credits. On the i Info page, it's important to note the Payment Options. Payment Options will tell you how many instances can be run at once. *An important note for beginners: Each script is owned and promoted by the scripter. The scripter is responsible for teaching customers about the requirements for each script. To learn about any script click the View Thread button at the bottom of the script to learn about how to best prepare your account. All scripts should have a Requirements Section.* For example, here are the requirements for |w| Zulrah’s Slayer V2: Requirements - 80 to 85+ range/magic (85+ magic necessary as it is the most important stat). If using LG, have at least 85 of both. - High defense and hp (>= 70 for barrows), HP recommend at least 75 - 43+ prayer - Regicide, Underground pass, Biohazard and Plague City required Now, click this link to return to the repository. 10. The Botter's have spoken! We wanted to try something new out. Rather than suggesting scripts based on user count or what we objectively thought was the best script, we put the power in the hands of the people. For 2 weeks of November, we ran a test contest with the intention of seeing how active botters saw TRiBot, and who stood out among the crowd. We challenged botters to say in one or two sentences why they think a script should be voted as a Botter's Choice. We had some great feedback. Most of which was highlighting the customer service of scripters. One contest entry raved about a popular script Auto Fisher Pro: Some botter's may not know this, but most premium scripts have a free trial option. 14. Get Familiar With The Login Options So you've signed up for TRiBot and downloaded the client. If not, please see Setting Up TRiBot The following orientation will walk you through what everything on the client user interface does Username and Password: Enter the same login as you did when you signed up in the TRiBot forums Heap Size (MB): The amount of memory a client will use. The larger the heap size, the more memory used, but the higher the efficiency of the bot. For this case the default is set to 386. As a new botter, you most likely won't have to change the heap size. But you will when you start using multiple bots. Console Mode: When using console mode. The client prints all bot debug statements to the TRiBot Loader console (or the command line if you run TRiBot from the command line) and doesn't close the loader after the client launches. Console mode is normally used for debugging client crashes or clients not starting. TRiBot Version: Ensure you’re using the latest TRiBot version. To stay up to date on the always improving TRiBot client. Stay connected on our community forums. Java Version: Ensure you’re using the latest version of java. To stay up to date on the latest java client, Oracle is a great place to look. Manage Proxies/Proxy: We recommend using a proxy to secure your IP address and avoid very real risks such as chain-banning. Learn more about how proxies work by reading this forum by our Super Moderator, YoHoJo. For now, don’t worry about proxies, multi-botting. Those are great ways for advanced botters to make money. Login: Loads the client so you can start scripting. In order to use the Client, you’re going to need to download your first free script.
