  1. Need a time waster? Try out Burning Rush. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.UnholySquid.BurningRush&hl=en
  2. I suppose so, but I've ran bare bone wordpress sites with default themes and just content. And as long as they see value in the content they don't mind. But I suppose it's a bit different from reg affiliate blogging vs ecommerce. Thanks for the input.
  3. 1. Lol, you don't need to always follow the same formula for the header. But the distraction with the banner is a good thing to know. (I think what you are trying to say is more about the flow of the above the fold.) 2. I don't care about a logo... 3. Thanks. 4. Again this isn't about professionalism, it's for fun. 5. Lol, my day job is a designer for a real estate marketing company. Not looking to spend money on website designs, much rather put the money towards advertising, marketing, and shirt designs. But thanks.
  4. Pi3 is out now! Woot woot!
  5. Haven't worked on this project in a while, want to start promoting soon. Want to know thoughts on the design, what things did you hate? What things (aesthetically) do you think would make you convert?
  6. While you don't need to do it, what would happen if you inserted a string with no error catching/sanatizing, that could fuck up your script. lol
  7. Break it up into a method. def returnLarger(x, y): if int(x) < int(y): return int(y) elif int(x) > int(y): return int(x)Then to call: larger = returnLarger(100, 200)print str(larger)Which will return: 200
  8. x = int(input("Please enter an integer: ")) y = int(input("Please enter another integer: ")) if int(x) < int(y): largerValue = int(y) elif int(x) > int(y): largerValue = int(x) print("The larger value is" + str(largerValue))
  9. I main with python 2.x but here ya go: x = int(input("Please enter an integer: "))y = int(input("Please enter another integer: "))if int(x) < int(y) or int(x) > int(y): print("The larger value is" + str(y) or str(x))
  10. Early access is here! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.UnholySquid.BurningRush&hl=en
  11. Old video, lol
  12. I lied it wasn't 10" it was 7". Lol got it from adafruit: Pi Foundation PiTFT - 7" Touchscreen Display for Raspberry Pi $80 It's currently out of stock though Found a 10" screen though for around ~$150 for this I think I might pick this up: http://www.chalk-elec.com/?page_id=1280#!/10-universal-LCD-with-HDMI-interface-and-capacitive-multi-touch/p/42545413/category=3094861
  13. Call them and find out, their support is pretty decent. Like I said I used to call them quite a bit and stuff gets resolved.
  14. I have 2 paypal accounts for USA and Canada and I've ran into similar issues in the past. If you are under 18, I'm not certain how much I can help however. But verify your paypal account not by email but by identity. This means add a bank account or a credit card to the account. When in doubt call paypal. When I sold pins and gold back in the day, I would get charged back from a few people and I would always call Paypal and win the dispute over the phone rather than over email. Edit: You can still open a checking account at a bank if you under 18 and use that to verify your pp. Alternatively you could do preloaded cards and create a Canadian account where there isn't a verification for like transactions under $100 I think? Not certain my Canadian has a Canadian bank account attached so I can't verify that for ya.
  15. Yeah I got a 10in touch screen for mine but I want to make some more modifications to it since they want you to screw the pi onto the screen. I do not want to do that, I just want to make it a simple plug the ribbon cable in and stick on. So then I can remove it easily. I already have a basic setup just need to get some velcro soon to finish it.
